Trying to finish up my procharger install and I'm slightly confused. The instructions say nothing about the hose/connector that I've included with what I *think* I'm supposed to do in red. Also I thought it would be ok to keep my ford catch can in place and run the pcv system the way I have currently started, is this ok?

Am I running the T to the IMRC solenoid correctly also? The instructions are really not good and I've done a ton of discussion searching and image searching but see they have changed the configuration of the PCV system at some point. Any help would be great and yes I know not everything else is totally hooked up yet, waiting for some oetiker clamps to come tomorrow instead of using shitty band clamps . Thank you!

Thanks, I'm fairly new here. I just see a forced induction - 5.0 forums, is that where I should post? Just trying to follow the rules. Thanks

Yes. If a mod kicks you out for asking, honestly they can kick rocks. That is one of the most populated forums, give it a shot!

For any of you that have the Whipple Gen 5 3.0, what are you running for a CAI? I am getting mine installed but hate that black plastic enclosed air box it comes with.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Don't fight the system. The black airbag is calibrated for our bumper, the Whipple tune (or aftermarket tune), and it works very well.

Pretty much done with my P1X and OPG install on my Gt350. Currently finishing up the tune with Lund. I definitely have more buzz in the car now , especially between 1500-2000rpms loaded or unloaded, can anybody else with a procharger chime in on their driving experience ?

What do you mean by buzz? Cabin noise is minor for me. Mostly exhaust if anything. That is with straight cut gears and the red race BOV.

It's been nearly 5k miles since my install. It might just be my engine. It's a high frequency vibration at those rpms. I removed the procharger from it's mounting bracket to check, bracket vibrates. Remove bracket and everything seems to be normal.

I keep seeing 2 different style mounting configurations and I'm wondering if my setup is the issue . My style has the procharger on one main bracket with the tensioner on the passenger side head. I've asked a few others if they've had vibrations and they all say no but they have the style with the tensioner on the same mounting plate as the procharger.

I've just been dealing with it since above 2k rpms everything feels smooth. I have no drivability issues just that vibration between those rpms.

Hey new here but planning on going the boosted route on my 350 and after reading through this have a few questions.

I have a 2019 350 I'm planning on doing OPG, but is it also recommended to do the CS as well? I've heard that the 2019s use a different forged one now?

I've decided on a going with a procharger PX1, and I've been going back and forth on the stage 1 or stage 2. My goals are around 650 wheel on 93, was wondering if anyone had input. Does anyone know if the stage 1 procharger kit for the 350 keeps the stock balancer or does it also use the innovators west? I've heard various things about swapping balancers on the 350 platform though usually with ATI and installer error.

I’d go ahead and replace both, you’re already in there. I also swapped in billet timing chain guides and tensioners since they were removed to get to the OPG and CS. Not necessary, but an option to consider.

This. Reality is with what it takes to do those mods(time), the cost of the parts is moot. I did the xover mods for the heads when I had the tranny out for the clutch as well.

So i'm thinking OPG, CS, MMR timing guides and a crank stud. Is there anything else i'm missing. Leaning more towards the procharger stage II now over the I.
