has anyone installed a gt500 supercharger on a gt350? Curious what is involved. wonder if a person had a timing cover, supercharger, alternator and balancer from a gt500, I assume all of this would bolt to the gt350 5.2. Curious what other changes would be needed.

I canā€™t imagine it being either time or cost effective. Iā€™m sure thereā€™s been one for sale, but Iā€™ve never seen one for sale.

Time isnt the issue for me.
this is a project car - 65 fastback with a voodoo swap (already have engine sitting in car) and I just picked up the gt500 supercharger.
With this project I am trying to control cost but if that was my biggest concern, I wouldnā€™t be doing this project.
I am more concerned about how to make everything fit and what is actually needed

I'm sure it could be done, but I think you'll find that the supporting components are what's going to drive you mad (and drive the costs higher than just buying a setup specifically for the GT350). You'll probably still come out ahead if you got a GT500 blower for cheap or for free, but I learned my lesson on my first mustang trying to do a bullet intake swap. Same motor, all sorts of minor and small parts that were slightly different.

Prob so
Luckily I got a good deal on the blower and have access to a timing cover and alt for a good price.

I also have a balance for a gt500
Not sure if it will work with a gt350
I need to see some pics of a stock gt500 front engine dress to determine what else I need.

I am thinking I would need to get a different water pump

here are some photos I have from when I went to my track day. Snuck in the garage where they had a whole fleet for the gt500 track attack.Hopefully it helps...

Resurrecting an old thread. So the answer is yes* it will fit under a stock GT350 hood. And close. However, engine lowering mounts should be used. Not sure which side the hellcat throttle body electronics are on but the GT500 definitely shares the same space as the hard coolant line in the front drivers side. Not that you could use it anyway bc It's digital.

Any updates on this ?
Thinking of picking up a bower relatively cheap and throwing it on my ā€œspare ā€œRPG engine .
I already have a whipple on the engine in the car now so if I swap in the spare motor would be able to use the heat exchanger in the car already .
ā€¦ but it may also end up in a Fox body .
