So I was having fuel problems going all the way to +2 on my KS. Added 8oz boostane and problem is fixed and saw -3 and both pulls even though the accel was 100% on both pulls. Going to just use blended 100 pump with my 93 after every couple tanks with only 6oz boostane. With that problem fixed how much timeing could be added back so it runs the way it should with out so much being pulled out?

If your seeing knock, why not just set the tune up for 91-93? Sounds like the tune/timing is too aggressive. If your seeing knock it's only a matter of time before kaboom.

It was dyno tuned for 93 and they pulled a lot of timing out to run through the steps to check if it's flase or not. So they left it very conservative and I did find the a/c clamp was hitting and got it fixed. Then I refueled and it started climing 0+2 at WOT starting at 4k exactly. I added 8 oz of boostane on the full tank and now my pulls are -3. So I'm waiting back from the turner tomorrow but wanted to see how much timing anyone things could be put back in now that the false knock is gone and I know I just had some bad fuel.

Adding octane and seeing a positive timing response is not false knock.

Your question is ambiguous. You could ask what most see on xx blower/turbo at 2000ft and pump 93 on a gen2/3 and ballpark could be given. But with the details given, could be 14 degrees or 26 degrees.

I can easily get another degree with high dew point days on my setup and no changes. Cold dry air is the opposite

Sorry I'm new to all of this...below now is with 4oz of boostane full tank 93. I have been shown how to read my log. I don't need to add anyrhing. My a/c bolt was touching and I had some decent but not good fuel. I now keep 4oz of boostane per tank.

East coast nc (75°) pro dyno
Gen 2 93 tune
2200sl 3.8
Lth
Stock im/intake
H pipe/roush axle back
15* timing (car is now adding up to *19)

Car made 610whp/493 wtq and that was with the ks turned off and 590 +2.

For fi car what's the hp +/- per degree of time?

Try a different gas station. One that gets a lot of traffic and constantly has the tanks refilled or Have your tuner take out 2 degrees and just let the computer add timing when needed. The pcm will only ever add up to 4 degrees if the setting hasnt been changed

From what I have found out on the local groups is right now charlotte doesn't matter exxon, BP, mobile, shell all are getting crappy gas. The best I found was actually a bjs (like costco) and no boostant it only pulled 0-1 but the rest I was almost hitting 2. It was 93 tuned also 5.0lojos by shrader performance. The car with the boostane before and after is completely. The tuner said he pulled a bunch of timing out but for some reason with out boostane the motor just doesn't like the fuel that I keep trying. So sticking with the bjs and just gonna live with 4oz boostane. No biggie I'll just have to swap plugs and 02 more than i would prefer.

Thats in line with what id expect on 93 alone given local and head unit. I too use 4 to 5 oz boostane prof to get 97/98 octane and hold the tune around 18.5 to 19.5 depending on airload/temps. 10psi on a tvs. 1.6 to 1.75 airload depending on air quality. 19.5 at 1.6 and 18.5 at 1.75. this is from 5krpm and up.

The further from mbt, the greater the increase hp per degree. 20hp is generally accepted but would expect a 10 or 15 hp increase once you're above 18/19 degrees.

Now that I actually have an idea of what I'm looking at on the spread sheet and log what you say makes total sense. I had to spend some time watching videos and learning how to read the log and know what the car is doing. Good to know that I'm probably closer to 630ish not 610 with it kicking up 18/19.5*

650whp was my goal for this car max 10psi.

Its very rare on pump gas to get above 19 degrees,.... can it happen sure, but rare. These engines love being able to ADD timing, not so fond of removing it. So running a lower commanded number, and letting it add to it is always a happy engine :)
