That's what I was told was the best route for the csr. I was curious about how much hp you gain as the car adds its own timing. I honestly was wondering what my numbers would be with out going back on the dyno. Since I was 620 with the car not adding any timing what it might actually be now that...
It is at 15* And it adds the remaining. Tuner said let it add its power so incase I don't have boostane or fuels not great it will keep its self safe just keep an eye on the knock sensor on the sct especially if no boostane.
Don't burn me to hard if this is a dumb question as I'm still learning about tuning and how the motor works with it in different set ups.
I'm curious about if anyone else is set up for there car to add its own timing and how much hp you gain as it adds. My tuner has me on a more conservative...
Its a brand new kit... didn't start making this noise till after new belt. The whole kit is 3 weeks old. Just found out they put a 101.5not 102 on my car... worn bearings from stress?
So a few days ago I had a better belt put on because I blew my radiator hose and was having some slip... now I have this sound and idk if it was there after install or I just happened to be checking under the hood and now heard it
They did... when they 1st tried I was next to him when he plugged in and revved it to 4500 and it cleared. He turned the car off and back on and it came back. That's when they said well I guess the car isn't ready. They called me about 1.5 hours later and said the wiring for the crank sensor...
So this all started immediately after I had a clutch install. I picked up the car and threw a 0300 0315 and 0316 on there lot. They found that the crank sensor wire needed to be re wired and redo a crank relearn. I don't believe they changed the sensor 1 week ago. Then 4 days later I got these...
If I decide to go with getting a drum of e85 and mixing 5 gallons per fill up should I change the fuel system? What should I ask from the tuner? I currently have the vortech plug and play/fic1000s. I can't go full e85 but I'd like to get off the boostane and be able to at least run a normal...
It's not terribly expensive as I only use 6oz and buy in quality. Adds $5 per fill up in real time but it's not as kind long run for the plugs/o2. I'll shoot my tuner a message and see about his thoughts. I am trying to see how I can safely add about 70 hp. I'd really like to be 690 just a touch...
I'm curious as I am adding 6oz of boostane for the never the same gas here in nc. If I wanted to put in a gallon or 2 each fill up would I need a return system or flex tune? As well do you think it would allow me to take off the conservative timing tune and up my power?
