I'd like to run a rear tire as close to the diameter of my 275/40R 19's on the Y-spoke alloys on my Mach 1. They are 27.7" diameter. A 295/35R 19 is very close at 27.1" and there are many tires available in that size. A 295 is a bit big for my current 10" Y-spoke wheels, and they are a bit small for 11" wheels. So, I was thinking what if I put a set of 10.5" HP wheels for all four wheels and run a square 295/35R 19 setup. My question is, can I put the 10.5" HP wheels in the rear okay? Will I have any issue with the offset versus what I either have on the car now or compared to the 11" HP typical rear wheel? The 10.5 offset is ET24 and the 11 is ET48. I do not want to go to the 315/30R 19 tire size as I really cannot lower the car at all.

No way, the 10.5" +24 offset wheel would be further out by 22 mm (an inch) compared to 11" +52.5 offset wheel. You don't want that.

295/35 is totally fine for 11" rim, not sure why you'd think otherwise.

Different pages say different recommendations but basically 305/35 can be used on 10-12" rims. 295/35 on 10"-11.5".
Here's some narrower recommended ranges: https://www.tiresandco.ca/tire-equivalence-advice.html
But you can see it's not quite exact, for example Ford's OEM 315/30 is recommended for 12-12.5" and not 11". Rubber is flexible and different tires have different sides with edge protectors too so they look quite differently on the same rim. Slight stretch is always preferred to bulge on the road.

I was just looking at online calculators that were suggesting for an 11" rim I had to go 305-315. Sorry, I'm not an expert at this, hence my question. Thanks.

If you want to stick to the 35 profile tyres, I'd just shamelessly copy @MLO 351 and go with Continental Sport Contact7 front and rear.

285/35 ZR19 103Y on the front, 295/35 ZR19 104Y on the rear.
There's also a 100Y available in the 295/35 but I'd avoid that and go for the 104Y as this is closer to the load rating of your current 275/40 PS4S.

I think he's posted some measurements and some nice side-on photos in the other threads, looks like a good setup to me.

Thanks, I gotta check the sidewalls, one thing I do not want to do is give up much cushion via less rubber around the wheel.

That front would work nicely. The rear, I'm a little less sure of with the sidewall loss.

I was thinking I could instead run 20s and go as follows, which would result in little sidewall loss and it would also give me slightly more ground clearance as the car would ride higher.

If I go to 20's, then maybe I go with a set of these, should save over 5 lbs per wheel...
