Finally got my Race Louvers center vent in. Was going to match body color but was too lazy to take out side vents to be painted. Car just needs a serious wash.
What did you use to cut your hood?

Detail spray turned my coyote emblem yellowish so I replaced it. Changed it up a bit. Little things.... šŸ™‚

Removed my cloth upholstery and installed Katzkins.
I have a steamer if I need to smooth them out or tighten them a tad but figured I would see if they naturally relax with the heat of the day.
Very happy with the quality.

Good God, man! I have never seen the inside of one before, since it'll be a cold day in hell before I'd consider driving one, but I must say it looks like they put every bit as much thought into the interior as they did the nose of that appliance. Blank, bland, butt-ugly are the adjectives that come to mind. Oh, and of course it has the obligatory laptop screen. If I were you, I'd get the darkest possible tint on the windows. That way, the people in real cars won't be able to identify you as That Guy.

Sorry (maybe), but there are reasons why I choose my vehicles, and that lump of nothingness just doesn't do it for me.

If you want positive feedback, a site other than Mustang6g might yield better results.
Okay... so I hear what you're saying. But... I did drive one and I was impressed. Not my type of interior, yes, but there is some incredible simplicity just having the road in front of you and that is all you see. I liked it, different, but interesting. Cool you have both.

Looks good! Got any tips or what guide you followed? I just had mine delivered this week to go in at some point before the end of the year. Not sure when I'll really jump into it.

Nagare,
I watched the LMR YouTube videos on Removing Seats, Removing Cloth, and Installing Katzkins over and over again. Made the job fairly easy, but it was time consuming. I did it over a couple of days, did headrests while watching TV. Backseat was easy, and front seat bottoms were easy.
Worst (nerves) part was cutting the holes for headrest, the release on the back and seatbelt magnet.
There seemed to be a mark for seatbelt magnet, but i still measured.
I am used to greasy projects so this was nice and clean, but did still get a couple of nicks on my hands and fingers.
I might have spent 6 hours on it total, but I was in no hurry.

Did the Redline Tuning hood strut kits, allowing me to get rid of the dumb prop rod. I went with the carbon fiber tube covers so that it would sort of blend in with the new CF CAI I did recently. Popped them on then gave the car a bath. šŸ‘

Appreciate it, I'll give them a watch and six hours sounds a lot better than what I was thinking. Looking at the detailed color codes on the box I got, seems like mine are the Tuscany leather so I'm hoping it feels great!

You're a stud dude. That's amazing work. Takes some guts to tackle that job, too.

Looks good.

FWIW, for those who have installed struts, regardless of brand, double check the area I have circled in red for a crimped washer fluid tube.

Yep. Redline says specifically in their installation instructions to get some slack in the hose like you have pictured.

Didn’t do anything to the car, just reminiscing. Picked it up exactly 1 year ago today. My son in the picture (I wish I was young and thin againšŸ˜‚). My yellow 2016 that I traded in is in the background
