I saw the lifts when I was looking for little shop tools and stuff. I wasn't sure if they'd fit well in there. But now I know they do lol. I may be able to fit more generations in there after all lol. I thought I was done spending money on this stuff ...
It’s never ending, just like the full sized cars we drive LOL

Yep lol...the difference between men and boys is simply the price and size of their toys.

Very nice. You plan to keep adding to it as new models that you appreciate are released?

Thank you. Not sure really. I kind of like it the way it is. And I'm not really a fan of the 2024 as of right now. Maybe now and then I'll switch out a couple with other variations of the generations I already have shown. I'd like to add a 4-eye fox in there and maybe an early 2000s cobra or saleen if I can find one. I'd like to get a 65 or 66 fastback too. We'll see.

Just thought I'd share a fun little mustang tribute I put together in my garage featuring all my favorite models through the generations in 1/64 scale. And then of course the main attraction, 1/18 scale replica of my car. Well, almost a replica, since it doesn't have a GT350 spoiler or black painted roof/side mirrors/hood vents. But I can always add those touches down the line.

blue thunder,
i must say that is a fabulous looking display! soo realistic! may i ask how you built?
i have mostly 1/18 scale (will be ordering the 2024 models when they come out) but sadly most of mine are still in boxes in the closet. with kids and small house we are running out of room for "display" stuff... between Lego and "other" collectibles the house is full. garage is no go too. shelves along 90% of the walls and where there are no shelves there are pictures of mustangs! lol
friends have said i need a bigger house but do i really? bigger house just for all my toys?
i can try a "rotating" display....maybe one day.

Thank you very much. The LED display cases I just found online. There's a bunch of variations available. I had to do some searching for the specific generations I was looking to cover in 1/64 scale. All the small tools and decals are available to buy as well. So it wasn't too hard at all considering I didn't really do any of the work lol. I just had to put it all together once I had the idea. I'm glad you like it.

Hi all, what an excellent thread! Love your diorama! I haven't gone that far but I do have a good sized collection of diecasts. Currently I display them on shelves in my den, and I rotate them. Currently on a Mustang theme. Attaching some pics. The majority are 1/24 scale. Some are 1/18 scale.
65 GT, 289 K code. 70 Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet. Two 71s, Boss 351 and 351 RamAir Mach 1. Two 69 Boss. Black 429 and Blue 302. All 1/24th.
The 1/18 cars. Two 65 GT 350Rs. Replica of the Prototype driven by Ken Miles, etc the"Flying Mustang" . What if custom interpretation of a Marti Rossi racing team Mustang. Last but not least the #2 LeMans winning GT40.

Not as fancy as some but all the space I can afford. Hoping Greenlight will put out a model in Eruption Green someday.

I got it and boy is it detailed. Actually as close to mine as I’m going to get for sure. It’s taken up residence in a spare bedroom for now.

Here’s my setup. Nothing cool like some of you all have. All 1:18 scale except the GTO and Eleanor, those are 1:24. And the Lego scale 😁

Excellent!! Boys and their toys, really like those. Car nuts (me anyways) started as kids infatuated with cars and scale models were the way to make that real. Back in the day it was building plastic models. Pre built Diecast came later when I just didn't have the time but wanted the result.
