Need Help on Mods for a Stock GT

After reading numerous posts (here and others) about how much/how little a strut bar does I would like to see a real analysis: measured deflection of the strut tower while cornering with and without a strut bar.

It doesn't seem like too much to ask from the suppliers who tell us we NEED one.

Get the Steeda K member brace instead. I think its called the G-Track extreme or something along those lines.Provides a significant upgrade in rigidity and steer in :like:

I've yet to see anyone GAF about strut bars for any reason other than aesthetics.

What anyone that's driven one of these cars does know, is that the IRS/cradle needs a lot of help. That is where you see your real gains in handling and stability.

The front end of the car is fine, focus on the back end.

I’ve noticed a difference just in street driving (some spirited back road driving too) with the IRS braces. The rear feels more planted for sure. I’ve seen more than a few folks talk about the diff bolts/bushings too but I’m good with the braces for now

And it still wont turn the car into a trackrat. That's not what it does.

I want to save for boost and I also only do beginner track attacks every so often so just looking to do the bare min
