Paint flaking

Hi all

the paint on my front bumper starts to flake off where it meets the body. Had the same on my rear bumper already.

Is this a common issue?

Covered by warranty?

Pretty common. Seems to be a paint drip in that location that breaks off from rub. I hit mine with ford touchup and has been fine since. I'm sure a dealer would do same.

Stones will chip paint, that's normal. Especially on bumpers around the wheel-wells.

paint is chipping because of the friction between the bumper and body

Will probably do the same, but first I need to cut of the loose paint

yep that exact thing happened to my bumper, looks like the paint dripped and bunched up and dried there then the fender chipped it off

No idea what paint it is, but quality is really poor... as I mentioned I had the same happening on the rear bumper where it meets the body... really disappointed

Still studying the thread. I'm not sure of the attached applies here, but with this topic, a reference.

I'd originally had a 2016 GSB on paint. This AM, I've been able to find one from 2019.
