My wife now works in aged care (recent career change) and she is STILL required to do a daily RAT test, despite being triple vaxxed and recovering from her first bout of covid as we speak.
So 3 jabs and still gets covid.

In Memphis and got Bolt EUV from Hertz to try it (since the thread subject is about GM pulling back on EVs). Perfectly usable little car, 260ish miles of range fully charged, have some decent acceleration with pretty noticeable torque steer but it's not Tesla).

Will consider getting one in a near future.
Interestingly Hertz requires to returned it fully charged or pay for them to charge it.

Do they give you a charger?

Even at high speeds? Most electrics have decent acceleration off the line, but what if you floor it at 60 mph?

Just like they require normal cars to be returned with the tank full, or you pay for the gas. Seems reasonable. The trouble is, returning an EV fully charged may not be as easy as returning a car with a full tank, considering that charging stations aren't as ubiquitous as gas stations. You won't always find one close to the rental office.

Nope - it kind of level off, it's just the torque that's being felt. Definitely not a Tesla but it moves expeditiously, way better than anything ICE powered of comparable size.

It is - also question how do you define full charge, because it shows exact amount of energy stored in the battery as opposed to tank needle which is inaccurate.

@K4fxd - no charger. I looked for charging stations (just out of curiosity) - don't need to have it charged and it'll last the entire stay here - there is one less than a mile away from the hotel.

One of my neighbors had a model S back in 13 or so. It was a fun car, but it did burn down his house. He now drives some sort of AMG Mercedes.

That vaccine is awesome isn’t it. 🤣. And we have people like Burley who actually believe in it. Some folks are so gullible!!

All good until the last line. Hertz sucks for that. One of my employees works out of Chicago and rented a Model Y for one of his visits to our home office. He did not have to bring it back fully charged.

Yes, because her last jab was in Feb 2022. The bit you’re missing is that she avoided infection for 3 years, despite providing care to the covid positive people in our household over that period. Let’s count them shall we?
Little miss and little mister are both unvaccinated. That’s twice for her, three times for him. Twice for me. My last vaccination was more than two years ago also. You know that viruses mutate right?
Should I mention that she slept in the same bed as these covid positive people or would that utterly destroy your beliefs?

Seems that the numbers in this house don’t quite fit your nardative.

But please, do tell me more about how the vaccines don’t work…..

What rental company was that?

Read my reply and see if you’re as smug.

Precisely how many people do you know that are unvaccinated and have avoided a single covid infection over the past 3 years, despite living with , sleeping with and treating multiple Covid positive “patients”.

Out of curiosity, what level of protection would you expect for this years flu, given that your last flu shot was at least two years ago? This could be fun.

My sister had it once, this before any jabs and while working as a MD.

I've had it once. Got it before any jabs were out there. Never had it again despite NEVER wearing a mask or avoiding life.

I really try to stay away from the MSM but this was a really good interview with Jim Farley Ford’s CEO about ICE cars and EVs. Realistic vision about ICE vehicles and EV vehicle production moving into the future.
