Well I got lucky and picked up a second Mach 1 today.

It fits nice on the desk

The cool thing is the window sticker is listed on the back of the car. I googled the VIN and the car is listed for sale at Tom Masano Lincoln in Reading PA. $58K

@2022 Mach 1 by any chance do you know if the CARB approval has been completed for the whipple kit for 22-23 M1s? I can give them a call but I thought I would ask since you were involved with this process. Also how is the kit fit and finish now?

Took delivery of 2023 Mach 1 with (among other options) 700A, Handling Package and Tremec 6 speed in Mischievous Oil Slick Blue-Purple. Drove it home (130 miles) with a huge smile.

Today I also purchased Ford Protect Premium Extended Warranty from Granger and Michelin Pilot 4S tires (305's front and 325's rear) from Discount Tire...both Granger and Discount Tire are sponsors of the site and priced very well versus other options. Looking forward to Mach 1 Track Attack, making it mine with personal tweaks, and driving it like I stole it...once I get past the break in period.

I insured my Mach on my Heacock/American Modern policy...not a daily driver so able to do a stated value policy for incredibly low cost. If you have not tried to insure your toys with collector car insurance, it is worth consideration if you fit the parameters (locked garage, no mods, blah, blah, blah).

I've wanted a pony for about 50 years and finally pulled the trigger on this one. It checked all the boxes... Living the dream!

How was the ride home on those cup2’s? Mine should be here soon and I’m a nervous wreck thinkin about driving it an hour and a half home from what I’m told those tires throw rocks like crazy also how did you go about getting a deal from discount tire did you contact them on here ?

Cup 2's drive home was fine. I avoided gravel, loose pavement and potholes. The ride was better than I expected. Got home and checked the TP...38 front and 41 rear...that may have helped with comfort on generally good but imperfect public roads. I heard small road in the wheel wells only once in 2+ hour drive (hopefully none on the paint).

I did contact Discount Tire through the forum (privately) about their price match policy, etc.; they responded favorably, and I got the certificates (better than the certificates offered elsewhere) at their price because it was better coverage and competitive pricing.

So carb is still pending. The huge hang up is Fords deign of the H being in the intake track
The kit itself is flawless. If you check @njmthread i gavecsome feedback. If you want more specifics I can take pictures or walk you through anything.

They are going to test with CARB vs seek direct approval is what I was just told to epidite the compliance

Installed the replacement aero shield under the front of my Mach 1. Came in broken when new and I picked up the 6 missing screws from the dealer today so I could finish it.

Damn it! I thought $1500 for the quick Jack was going to sting, now $2900 plus freight from Germany.
