Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 or Michelin PS4S if you want a summer tire.

I was looking at those Continentals but hadn't seen a ton of reviews on them, how do you like them?
I have the originals and I love them. I’ve seen a few guys on here that have the 02’s, I think there’s a thread about them in the wheel & tire section. I would assume the 02’s are an updated/upgraded version of the originals.

I put a set of Michelin Pilot All Season 4 on my PP wheels. They are a great all around tire for daily driving and can handle some spirited driving, they are quiet and ride really well. No tram lining or weird behaviors. Plus you can drive them in cold weather if you need to. I took mine out on Christmas eve last year in single digit temps and they gripped remarkably well (dry roads). They do really well in wet as well. Plus they are rated for 40K miles I believe.

That said, I got a aftermarket set of wheels and tires a few weeks ago with the Nitto NT555 G2 and I do not like them at all . I don't recommend them, I have 305 wide on the Nitto's and the 275 wide Michelin All seasons grip way better than the Nitto so far. They may get better as we go into summer months and it gets really hot outside but so far I am not impressed.

So you don’t really miss the PS4s in comparison to the all seasons? I’m sure whatever fun is lost is picked up in cold/wet traction for a daily tire.

I concur. They were included in the package from LMR. I should have just bought the wheels and tires separately. I guess that's the price you pay for convenience. No problem, a few smoky burnouts and I will be ready for some Michelin PS4 LOL. :)

Well I had Pirelli on mine from the factory, I couldn't wait to get rid of those. I also wanted tires for the colder months. The Michelin are night and day better. :) They do handle really well. I am not a corner carver, just some average spirited driving and they do really well for me. The fact that they are factory tires for the C8 Corvette said a lot to me.

+1 for the Michelin PS4S

Haven't tried the Continental Extreme Contacts. I've used Pirelli's P-Zero All-Seasons on my old SHO and they were awful. They would scream in pain any time I took a turn above normal traffic speeds.

If you want all-seasons I still recommend Michelin. Their Pilot Sport tires are great all-rounders with anything but snow.
