Very nice! Post the pics after you get then on.
Thanks Bro, it will be a while longer before they are installed. Extended studs for the front will be added, along with 2 weeks of travel before that can take place.

What size wheels did you go with? Are the extended studs required or just an upgrade? Great choice on the new wheels BTW.

Thank you. The wheels are 19x11 +52 square. I will use 25mm slip on spacers and extended studs for them to bolt on the front. Going square with that offset, the front studs are not long enough with the spacers.

I’m ready to see those Signatures you have, they make a fine wheel.

Ah, got cha. Understood. Mine are 10.5ā€ +24 and 11.5ā€ +55. I can get by with factory studs but may upgrade to the ARP for sex appeal. If im going to throw on $500 Ti nuts, it’s not going to be on factory studs!

Finally got to checking the catch can. Not that I expected it to be anywhere near the need to be emptied, but just got the oil change and thought this might be a good time to check it as well (even though I mounted the catch can a bit later than I got my car).

Anyway, after cca 2600 km (1600 mi) I pulled out ~ 13 ml (0.44 fl oz) of oil, which would give the "production rate" of 5 ml / 1000 km. During that span, my average consumption was ~ 16L/100km (14 mpg), and it was not due to a city traffic, so I was not babysitting the car.

Originally, I thought I would unscrew the lid, while having the can in the car, but because it was not easy to do due to the coolant tubing running over, and I also saw a risk of dropping a bolt into the belly, I eventually disconnected and removed the can from the car, then unscrewed the lid and emptied it by a syringe offline. Technically I could simply pour the oil out, but I was curious how did it look inside and if the filter was clogged (seemed not be).

Yeah, that’s exactly what I did too. I’ve done it this way my whole life.

I was just getting the impression that I had violated some well known protocol.
Waited till after my 1st oil change 1270 miles to visit the red line. After the second change at 3240 miles I get in up to 5 good pulls a week. The curious thing is now at 5170 miles, car is one year old, my oil life says 56% remaining? Standard blend oil is 45% used in less than 2000 miles? Could I be thrashing it too hard? Thinking of full synthetic for this next change now.

Call me crazy but the Boss 9 is my favorite mustang of all time. Sorry Carroll.
I agree. There are only a handful of non-Shelbys in there and I have pictures on my other camera which I will try to make so they can upload here as they usually are too large. Several Mach 1’s and Boss 302’s.

Well finally comfortable with the weather so I thought it would be a good day to get the PS4s mounted, didn’t go as planned. What’s wrong with this picture šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

That looks like whoever did it didn’t even try.
