Might be ordering a 2023, 9 speaker vs B&O

So long story short I had a 2021 GT premium with the 12 speaker B&O system. It was a joke as the base stereo in my wife’s 2016 Jetta at the time was better. I’ve read that upgrading that system is expensive, is the 9 speaker system cheaper to upgrade?
Basically I will in the end have to upgrade either system, so which is the better starting point? This is one thing I am sad about as far as parting with my Mini cooper S that has the Harmon Kardon, that system rocks for a stock set up.

The B&O is easy override using the PAC Amp Pro AP4-FD21. Then all you’ll need a Maestro AF-02 harness and you can reuse the OEM speaker wiring.

That is one thing I want to change right away when it shows up, that is the only thing my current car does far better (kick ass factory stereo).

No worries. The PAC interface will pull a flat signal from your stock stereo and from there the sky is the limit.

I walked a way from the car, but turns out they didn’t include the B&O stereo in the order like they were supposed to, so it will show up with the 9 speaker system (who ever buys it).
