Boss 302 or Mach 1

As common as black is, you do not see many black Boss 302's around. I have always liked those cars. One like that would fit nice next to the Mach. If you don't mind, post some additional pictures of it.

I swear if I see one more pic of this I'm going to have to locate one... But yes, this was my dream mustang growing up. I honestly didn't even realize I could afford one until this forum post.

I hate you all. I've started to look for a black and red one in my price range. I've set bringatrailer to notify me if any new cars are posted.. If I find one before my 23 comes in and its in my price range, I'll have to pull the trigger.

The Boss and the GT350 have tons of character that the Mach 1 just doesn’t have. I own a Mach 1 and really like it, but I really appreciate the rawness of the Boss. My advice, buy the Mach and keep the Boss as well….a great pair to own.

Sounds like your M1 is a lemon. That’s a bummer.

I don't have many regrets in life, but trading my 2012 Boss for the Mach 1 is one of my biggest. I wish I had the room at the time to keep both. I do now.

I love modern Mustangs and generally believe newer is better, but that Boss 302 is sick and always has been and always will be.

No my Mach 1 is a great car, just feels much more tame than a Boss or a GT350. The biggest thing about the Boss was the side exhaust with the track key. Sounds phenomenal for a factory car.

There;'s a 2012 Boss 302LS / Black/Red at Kip Sheward Motors in Novi, MI. for sale This guy is about 20 miles from me and carries some high end stuff. I have not seen the car in person. This car has 250 miles and I think he's at $53-$54k. Looks clean. Seems reasonable for what your getting.

I have a 13 SBY Boss and a 14 GT500. Thought about selling them both and buying a new GT500 with the proceeds. I think I would be ok letting the Shelby go the car I can't bring myself to sell is the Boss. Mine is "ruined" with a Whipple but there isn't another car like it anywhere close to me. I see all kinds of Shelby's and S550s at local car events glad the OP is keeping his Boss.

I’m not feeling the black and red on the LS..I’m thinking it looks too cartoonish for me. I like the GHIG, SBY and Black of the non LS best. Those red wheels……not gonna do it for me.

We refer to my buddy's '12 silver/red LS as the Clown Car. If I owned it I'd have to swap in a standard Boss grille, and body color mirror caps and spoiler to tone it down a tad, and stash the originals.
