Thanks for posting. Not sure why the white 2013 is listed as an LS. I’m not aware of any 2013 LS’s being in any other color than the SBY or Black/Silver.
Good catch, that didn’t really jump out at me when I saw it for some reason. It’s either been repainted or someone swapped the taillight panel and is lying about it being an LS because it’s got the LS badge.
so, i called Mecum inquiring about Lot J234.1 asking if they could provide a photo of the engine bay in order to see the plenum LS # but they told me the car was pulled out of the auction circulation and could not provide any further info.

as far as i know, a Performance White BOSS302LS does exist but all i have is a low resolution photo...

ILV-49.jpg

as you can see, the body is 2012 but the livery is 2013, (odd).
not sure if it was being raffled off at a charity event, not even sure if it is a working vehicle, may just be a mock-up clay model for display purposes only.
if anyone has more information and/or photos, please post.

as for 1 of 1 2012 MY B302s and B302LSs, there is a Matte Black, Comp Orange "Patriot" (paired & sold w/Calypso Corral '69), Grabber Blue and Yellow Blaze w/white livery;

for 2013 MY B302LSs, there is a Sterling Gray and a Red Candy Metallic;

not to mention the 2011 / 2012 / 2013 / 2014 BOSS302Rs and BOSS302Ss!

wonder why there weren't any special 1 of 1 M1s for 2021 / 2022 / 2023 MYs? -C

The 2012 Yellow Blaze with the white livery:

Story goes it came out of the factory that way and ended up in Canada. The white livery was a mistake (it was never supposed to be an order option over yellow) - and hence why there is only (1) Yellow Blaze with white livery.

It was auctioned off by Mecum a few years back and ended up going back to Canada - it was listed over on TMO by someone who knows the buyer:

the new Mach 1 takes that 10 times out of 10 .... more power better suspension all around better car ..weighs more then the Boss ... but that can easily be done in the Mach ..a Mach 1 is essentially a GT350 with out the 5.2L ...

There was a killer deal on a 2012 black/red B302LS at Sheehy in VA…. It was mint, only had under 3k miles on it and the listed price was $39k… It’s gone as of the other day, but I’d bet the buyer knew it was a steal and will either make out real good in the future as far as collector car $$$ OR maybe do a flip.

The SBY 302LS at Mecum goes on the block next week. I‘m thinking of registering….

Are you seeking a 2013 SBY B302 or B302LS to buy?

Either one. Not sure how active I really am but figured I’d register and if I can get it for a decent price. A couple of the other 302’s and 302LS’s are on the block today. Curious to see what kind of pricing they get. Mecum guidance on the SBY LS is $65-$85k. I’d probably tap out at $60k, at that point I’d rather have a GT350 for the same $$.

@MAGS1
Here ya go, it's 2013 SBY B302LS #424:

No Mecum fees or premiums, and it's below your range.

I am the proud owner of a 13' SBY Boss 302 with just under 5k miles and in pristine condition. I love the new Mach 1 but having a hard time letting go of the Boss to fund a Mach 1. As I get older (67) I'm drawn to a performance car I can get with an automatic trans. Any thoughts out there? Thank you
I'm 65 and I would get the Mach immediately. But yes the S197 is gorgeous but... More comfort, better drivability, brakes, interior, handling, warranty, the list goes on...
If it were it would be a no brainer.

Tough choice, those BOSS' are sick. Think I'd have to take the Mach though, just couldn't go back to the old interiors and live axle.

I just stumbled across this older thread and I am going to resurrect it.

As a previous 2013 SBY BOSS owner and current 2022 Mach 1 HP owner, I thought I would still add something.
I'm not sure if the OP ever purchased another Mustang or not, but I sure hope he kept his BOSS.

I made the mistake of selling my BOSS a couple of years ago and have regretted it ever since.
The BOSS is far from perfect, but strictly from a "Fun To Drive" perspective, it wins over the Mach 1 hands down! The BOSS is so much more analog/ thrilling and edgy. The quad exhaust sound (w/restricter plates removed) is perfect!

I know the Mach 1 has all the BOSS performance numbers beat, but other than the my Mach 1 HPs insane amount of grip, the numbers are still close. Actually to me, the BOSS feels quicker to 100mph.

Where the Mach 1 really stands out/shines is in its "track readiness" and in its MUCH more refined/comfortable nature. The Mach can do daily driving duty no problem. Having the great Tremec transmission is another huge plus.
As a primary vehicle or dedicated track toy (crazy that it can do BOTH so well) the Mach 1 is the clear choice.
BUT it cost me twice as much money ($62K for the Mach vs $31K for the BOSS) and its only half as much fun!
As a second vehicle/weekend warrior/"B road" bomber.. the BOSS is damn hard to beat.

I'm not hating on the Mach 1 at all. Its a comfortable/ capable high performance car.
I like it... I just don't love it.

I LOVED my BOSS.
