I’ve seen a few people bolt them right onto gen 1’s. Should bolt right up to a gen 2 as well. From what I’ve gathered on the couple of threads that have discussed the topic, only reason fitting it to a gen 3 is unknown is because of clearance to the DI rails which the gen 2 does not have

Betting it would bolt right onto a Gen 2. Wondering what else would be needed beyond the heat exchanger and such.

This is the blower on a gen 2. We had to mill a little off the heads to get the blower to fit. Stock GT500 timing cover, stock crank pulley, stock fuel rails and injectors, Whipple heat exchanger. The issue we are running into is with the throttle body. Because of electronics, stock GT500 TB won't work on Gen 1 or Gen 2. We've tried a stock Hellcat TB, but can't get any throttle response.

We put one on a Gen 1. I’ll take a look tomorrow and see if there would be any issue on a Gen 3 but I don’t think there would be.

What throttle body did you use? We've got a Hellcat TB, but it's not communicating with the ECU. We repinned it to match up with the Ford plug, but still no luck.

What did you wind up doing for the TB. Is an aftermarket Gen 2 TB not an option?

With gen 1 and 2 coyotes, people just use a hellcat throttle body with a harness adapter sold by vmp. For gen 3 you can just use a gt500 throttle body

Reviving this thread just so I can put information out there for anyone who may wanna do this install on a gen 3 coyote. I am putting this supercharger on my 2018 mustang GT and I chose to delete the DI system to make room for the supercharger. However the supercharger still hits the rear most DI delete plates, so I still needed 1" manifold spacers for the supercharger to fit. Lund says they have not encountered this issue before, so I am not sure what variables were different in my case. My best guess is there may be a difference in the shape/size of the blower casing between the years of the gt500
