New 2022 GT500 For Sale

I happened to be talking to my salesman today (Kirk B.) and he mentioned to me that they have a new GT500 in their showroom, custom order that the buyer backed out on. They are asking sticker + $20k (they can ask, not sure if the market is still there or not). Thought I’d throw it out here with production winding down if anyone is still looking for one.

I may be in the minority, but I just don’t see dealers selling at msrp any time soon. These cars are done and may never come back. One of these sitting on there floor plans won’t hurt any of them and they’ll be very special in there showrooms. Look how many 350’s were still in showrooms after production was done. I’m sure some will be had for msrp, and kudo’s, but I don’t think it’ll be the norm.

I went and checked it out this evening. It’s stunning. It was also their last allocation to arrive. My guess is they’re willing to sit on it for a bit if they have to, it’s a nice showpiece in their showroom.

Depends on your location and when you purchased. I got my 21 for $6K over and it is a fully loaded base.

20K over is a lot. They might get it but for a non CFTP seems high.

Lol. I think that might be a little extreme. Will one be out there at that price? Maybe. But most likely a very high mileage 2020 model that is out of warranty or a salvaged title (buy back even). Pretty confident this won't be the norm though.

I suspect as the supply of brand new GT500s available continues to decline, these asking ADMs will become more firm.

MEH, The sad part is the number of people that are fine with the dealership upcharge.
At what point does Ford say, why are we letting the dealers make that type profit on a unit. we should be the ones and jack the msrp 20k on these, 15k on mach1/darkhorse and 10k on gt's. As it is clear many are more than ok with paying it.
That is all you are telling Ford. up the msrp as we will pay it.

Yep that’s their sister store, Golf Mill. They typically have a little higher markup, $25-$30k is pretty normal for them.
