Honestly, I'm not sure. My 3 year bumper to bumper ended in May. Even still, the repair could be more detrimental than the current situation. I don't even know that's specifically the cause.sorry to hear. Taking it to dealer or putting some caulking on it?
right. I thought the same thing invasive repair for a couple inches of splitting practically hidden.Honestly, I'm not sure. My 3 year bumper to bumper ended in May. Even still, the repair could be more detrimental than the current situation. I don't even know that's specifically the cause.
The car doesn't see much rain, and I doubt all cars are 100% sealed. I've taken appart our older grand cherokee and found evidence of water getting in that too...
I did some more research today too. There's lots of leak paths that lead to that spot. I found a bunch of threads on water in that spot.right. I thought the same thing invasive repair for a couple inches of splitting practically hidden.

thanks man. These cars are an uphill battle. Did you survive the AC evaporator? Well how about the leaks? If it wasn’t so much fun to drive lol.
What happens when you put the rear seat backs down, use a bright LED, lay down in there through the trunk and have someone run water over the seams?Water in the trunk... all that water from this? See pictures
