Wondering if such a thing as set it and forget it forced induction for a 21 M1 exists? Seems like a lot of what I read involves constant tweaks, broken parts and revised tunes are a required part of any blown vehicle. Could be that the addiction for more leads to all these things but then again SC vehicles are readily available from several manufacturers that come with 3/36 wsrrantys so there must be a moderate position where drivability and reliability are maintained. I totally get guys pushing the envelope and finding new ways to pile on more rwhp but I’m wondering if there’s are path to adding say 100-150 hp without sacrificing reliability or creating something that becomes finicky and needs constant attention.

The basic roushcharger is just like that, even comes with warranty. Nothing needs to be tinkered with.
Roush phase 2 specifically says it’s not compatible with Bullet, Mach 1 or GT350. The other options on their page do not appear to be for model year 2021. Am I missing something?

Looks like they just haven't gotten to the newer models yet. The G350 is different sure, but there's no reason why it can't fit the others with the 5.0 Coyote. If you can wait, that would be your best bet.

If you're just looking for 150 wheel, the simplest setup would probably be a procharger kit (if you're looking for a tune included).

Looks like they just haven't gotten to the newer models yet. The G350 is different sure, but there's no reason why it can't fit the others with the 5.0 Coyote. If you can wait, that would be your best bet.
i can wait. They claim 50-60% increase in hp so like 700 hp. That would be fun especially if it’s fairly simple and just requires 91-93 octane and no other mods.

I own precisely what you are looking for.

I don't tweak, fiddle, tune, or have to do anything other than fueling up at the pump and driving.

I have had a Stage II Pro-Charger with a P1X for the past 8K miles, and it has been 99% trouble free. I had the tensioner bolts back out slightly about a year ago and this was fixed in all of 10 minutes.

I did burn up my A10, so be forewarned to match the A10's programming to the new found power (not that hard to do).

Do the transmission software update with whatever power adder you choose and I see no reason why you can't have what you are looking for.

thanks for the reply. How much power did it add? How are its manners? I have a Tremac 6 sp which should hold the added power. The clutch may need upgraded IDK.

Roush is about as close as it comes but they even have occasional cat or fuel pump failure. You could get one and drop boost to about 8 psi and it would do 100-150 over stock and be extremely reliable.

I see two real issues here. One is that the closest any aftermarket tune comes to an oem-quality tune is the Roush. All others are basically just “good enough” to work *most* of the time. Secondly, no one is ever happy with the power gain and start playing to get more.

Who installs the kit and tunes it are huge. You really reduce problems by having well know shops do the install and tune it all in house. I notice a lot of guys around here like to install there own kit and run remote tunes. Pretty much guaranteed to need tune adjustments when doing anything remote. So that is one side of it.

Another side would be how the car is driven. If you take care of your car and do not drag race it. The best case scenario is that your parts might wear out faster than a stock mustang would.

But overall you should expect some degree of small problems and extra maintenance.

I guess it's a matter of using bigger pulley or is there another way to reduce boost on roush SC? Does it require any tweaks with tune itself?

welcome to hotrodding. if you want oem reliability don't mess with it :D
Ford with the GT500, Chevy with the ZL1, and Dodge with the Hellcat that they put in damn near every model they offer has achieved OEM reliability so it is possible. I’m wondering what aftermarket set up can approach these type mass produced offerings in terms of power, drivability and reliability.

Those cars all cost way more than the GT and we're engineered with boost in mind.

I ran a Vortech on my 01 GT for years without an issue. I kept boost low and a conservative tune. I road tripped it 3 years after I installed it and put on 5200 miles in 11 days. It's a similar setup to what I'll be installing on this car. My goal is only 600hp.
