Anyone have a rough idea what this would produce to the ground? Looking at pulling the trigger on a 2022 GT, but not thrilled at the power levels. I have a 18 pushing around 1200 HP and trading in a Corvette with 700+

Like the look and price of the car. Just want some more out of it.

Bolt ons, e85 tune will make a full weight street car run deep 11s at mid 120's. That's perhaps a little conservative. Maybe touch 130 mph with max effort full bolt on set up (no cams).

Did they do away with the PP1 and PP2 designations on the 22s?

Rear tire seems kind of narrow at 9.5 inches and a 275 stock?

The pp1 wheels are boat anchors. Along with tires that couldn't hook. One of the first things to swap out were lighter wheels and better tires. With e and bolt ons, rotational weight reduction you can get into low 500s at the wheels without much trouble. Mid to high 500s max effort. But you would be way better off going boost than max effort in terms of bang for your buck.

I have a 22’ base GT A10 with Kooks, intake, E85, no cats. It made 451RWHP. It’s been 11.3 at 123mph in the 1/4. Stock it ran 12.5 at 115mph.

Just curious, what's different in terms of looks from your 2018 to the new 2022 you might be getting?
I am not looking to daily drive my 18. It is fully built 1200 HP car. It's not stripped down so it is perfectly fine to drive down the road. Just no point in putting miles on it as it's more for drag racing.

This 22 I am going to spec in a road course car.

You should probably start out with other modifications, most specifically cooling, braking and chassis before any power mods. What experience do you have and what events do you plan on attending that makes you think 460hp is lacking and is the first thing to be addressed over other areas in need?

I currently track a 2021 Z51 Corvette. But the cost on tracking this car is much higher than a Mustang or Camaro.

Exploring either a 1SS Camaro 1LE or a Mustang GT with the GT Performance package. Both pretty much base models so I can strip them down and start modding as needed.

Having drag raced 1200 to 1500 hp cars and tracked cars mostly in the 500 to 675 HP range, 450 to the fly wheel feels sluggish to me. I want around 550 to the ground (in addition to the high temp brake fluid, higher temp pads, bigger radiators, Trans cooler if needed).

Hell my twin turboed Quad is running E85, headers, hybrid turbos, custom cold air intake system and putting down around 650 to the ground and it's a 4 door sedan.

Just get a 2020 gt500 if you want to track a car and still have some good power to have fun with around town. Best of both worlds. However, if you didn't want to do that, a FBO E85 setup would get you mid to high 400s I'd say which is typically enough for most people. We have a couple of packages that are some of the best priced combos out there. Feel free to shoot me a message anytime if you want to see what we offer. Lethalperformance.com

I cannot justify the price of the GT500 to myself to be honest. I feel like the price gap between it and a GT is way too much.

Honestly as affordable as Mustangs are to mod I bet you can build a more track capable car by buying a GT and then building it. Hell you can surpass the HP numbers easily for like 10k. That leaves you with another 35 to 40k for supporting mods.

I would have agreed with that at one point, but there is more to a car than just power. The main reason I went with it is because its practically a stock car making 950whp. Most people that I know that have similar setups in a 5.0, its not the same car it once was. Which I will agree its not the most cost effective way to make power for sure.
