Pilot Super Sports have a 30K warranty on them. As long as you aren't burning rubber or hanging it out on the hairy edge every day, I assume you should get 20K - 25K+ of good wear. Also, I can confirm that they stay fairly pliant at temperatures down to 30-35 F. I have them on my GT 500, they are really good tires.
except in staggered set ups, they have a 15K warranty

Please don't mame me for asking as I am a bit mechanically challenged compared to pretty much everyone here...

For DD purposes, what about running a setup similar to the standard GT, but a little wider? Would this save any money? Would anything else even fit with the massive brakes? I mean, if the stock tires in here are warranted for 15k, and cost ~300 a tire...I guess it really just comes down to saving $0.10/mile so that's not bad...maybe it's best to just be prepped to spend $1200/yr on tires. Would the pricing benefits be outweighed by the downgrade in driving performance on the street? Am I just being a cheap @$$? I'm just used to normal sedans and what not that cost less to replace all four tires...

IMO, if you need to drive this car as a DD you can't afford it.
Crazy to drive cars like this in winter, its not made for it, never mind
the obvious fact it is a limited production car. It was designed to enjoy,
But I doubt the designers had doing donuts in snow as one of ideas.

I live in houston, winter is like 1 day a year and the city shuts down. I can afford this car and I will buy it, but if I can keep daily costs down since I'll be tracking it as much as I can that would be a plus.

Edit: I have been wanting a BA sports car for while now but at my roots, I'm cheap. I'm going to make this purchase because I have wanted it sooo bad for sooo long but as I said, I'm cheap, if I can save some money without giving up much fun for DD, that would be a big bonus

The GT350 is still just a Mustang at its root. Of course it can be a daily.

Little different if you don't live in winter climate, with snow, worse salt etc.
If I lived in south, I would not use as daily driver, but would drive much more often. to me its a toy:)

I do agree though, heck no to this in winter lol I grew up in Chicago and there is no way I'd drive something like this in he winter there. But, if I have to deal with the intense summer heat and humidity here, I'm gonna have a fun DD lol

I disagree. I need to drive something that I thoroughly enjoy every day. I want to be engaged and feel like I'm doing something every time I get behind the wheel.

I understand why some like to keep their "fun" cars reserved for weekends and fair weather while they drive a beater or some other regular car during the week, but that lifestyle just isn't for me.

A sports car with proper tires in the snow is good fun, too.

Also, didn't Jamal say they built this car as a great road carver that can be used on the weekends for track days? Doesn't that point to ford saying this would be a great DD?

Indeed, which is why they are offering it with the tech pack's DD-friendly features.

^^Heck no. Why would you DD this car. This is a limited production special offering with a unique engine design. It needs to be babied and taken out only on special occasions. Especially in winter climate with snow and all the elements. Just get a DD with good FE. It will be that much more enjoyable to have fun in it when the weekend hits while it keeps the mileage down thus keeping its value.
LOL Carroll Shelby is shaking his head at you right now

Has nothing to do with "needing" it as a dd, it's about being a true enthusiast and using the the car for what it is and was meant to do..... be driven, not set in a garage! Shelby said it himself, "beat on them and drive the heck out of them"
Guess in your opinion those people that dd their Mercedes, audi, Porsche, Jag, Aston Martin, BMW etc. can't afford to own those either since they don't have a car of lesser status to dd huh?

LOL comments like these crack me up, thanks for the laugh fellas:thumbsup:
