I have a lowered pp1 car. I bought the car used so i dont know what was used to lower it or what dampers were used. While doing my header install, I was trying to see if I could figure out what was used, and still no idea. I see no tags, or stamps anywhere.

If I post up a picture, do you guys think you can identify the setup? The car rides and handles pretty damn good, however if its on stock dampers, I think some improvements could be had with the ford track stuff.

The coils are Blue, so in my mind theyre either ford track, or steeda, but i see no markings and the damper is black. Someone (could be factory) paint marked every radius rod, and strut. Looks to me like someone was doing a thorough job setting the camber. It does have MM camber plates, so there is plenty of adjustment.

The strut is black, and the dust boot (at least on the pass side) is a bit mangled.

I'll add a picture a bit later.

I think its steeda coils of factory dampers..... Just a pure guess.

PIX or did not happen.
This is a picture of the Ford track suspension (FR3). Blue springs, blue strut body and spring, blue shocks. You'd have blue sway bars as well in the full kit. You can buy blue Ford springs separate however. Look for the rear springs being progressive rate to know if it is the track kit.

Don't the performance pack cars come 1" lowered from the factory? I'm not 100% sure but I think I read that somewhere

wrong color for steeda springs. at least in that light and level of dirt. Toss the factory dampers all around and get new springs. If after disassembly you do manage to identify what they are, you might be able to get a few shekels but shouldn't be a consideration to move forward.

Could be Ford Performance springs based on the color. I would try wiping them down and looking for a part number.

If the struts and dampers are black they are surely to be the OEM PP1 parts.

Blue Ford springs will have the Ford logo and will be marked X or Y.

I'm sorry about the muck. I'm doing headers and some other stuff so I didn't bother scrubbing anything down until work was done..

Thank you all. I think I'll just get the track pack and steeda radius rods and bump kit and be done.

Ford Performance Track strut and shock package, "Steeda Ultralite" linear springs and the rest you mentioned.

Update: These are steeda progressive most likely sport drop springs.

I snapped pics of the rear where I could see the numbers. I called steeda and got a close enough answer that they're not the springs I were hoping for.

So what is your plan now you know what's on your car?
I have a PP1. I replaced the rears with Ford Perf track dampers (huge improvement in that alone). I have Ford Perf track struts on order as well as Steeda minimum drop linear springs. I've been waiting almost a month for the Steeda parts to even ship out. Might cancel that order if they don't cough them up soon. From all the research I've done this will be a big upgrade over the OEM PP1 parts.
Another solid combo is the Ford track struts/dampers and the BMR handling springs SP083.

Steeda ultralites and FP Track dampers enroute. Ford racing knuckle bearing.

My car has MM caster/camber plates

I have the bmr 010+ 762 sitting on my parts shelf

In a bit I'll do steeda complete roll center kit, and spherical upper and assess what I need for sway bars.

Looks like a solid choice. I considered the Ultralites too but didn't want my car that low and to need the additional bump steer correction parts.
