So I’ve got a 2015 Mustang GT 5.0 and I’ve just had 2 12” subs installed and an aftermarket amp. After install at lower bass levels it’s fine but when I turn the bass up it lets out a constant bass sound, the system was installed professionally so I don’t believe it’s due to the system, from what I’ve been told, the gt’s do not have ANC so what else could the reason be for the subwoofers to emit constant bass? And how do I fix it?

Grounding problem
I second the ground problem. Also check connections if a line output converter was used to hook up the woofer.

Ground is mounted to bottom of trunk with paint removed, I don’t think it’s a grounding problem

Professional installers would do the job properly. I would get a RMA and return the woofer for exchange. with another one.

Start with simple. Check the ground and power wires. Then check the amp connections. Are you using an LOC? What kind of RCA wires are you using and are they routed near the power wire? Same with speaker wires. If you have a voltmeter check the resistance on each sub coil. There’s so many things that could be causing this and you didn’t give us much to go on.

Not really worried about the connections and things but as I said I didn’t install it, a professional did and he assures me it was done correctly as this clearly wasn’t his first install, I’m more concerned about what could be in the car itself causing the problem, when the same system is hooked up to an aftermarket radio it works fine

If I had a nickel for every person who says they are a professional. That doesn’t mean he’s incapable of screwing something up, especially if he doesn’t know how finicky the My Ford Touch System is.

No offense to anybody here as they are all trying to help but you aren't going to get this troubleshot with that amount of information over a forum on the internet. It just isn't much to go off of and you need to get hands on to do it right otherwise people will just list off the usual suspects. Any professional installer will warranty their work and if they can't take a quick look to determine at least the type of problem it is they probably aren't that professional. They may charge time to test equipment that you didn't buy from them but work done by them is covered.

Yup, I prefer to do my own maintenance and repairs provided they are within my mechanical capabilities.
