I’m so dense, I never thought about removing one of the Steeda trunk pop rods…mine is super springy with just a s-wing on it. Gonna have to swap one out.
Jaime, for the price you paid I would’ve expected them to build your wheels to the offsets you wanted.

My only complaint about using only one Steeda hood strut is, the side that has it is slightly higher than the other. Yup, now that I mentioned it, the people with only one won‘t be able to unsee it. Sorry.

It would be nice if that was an option. If I wanted a custom wheel, and was willing to pay for it on top of the SE cost, they would do that. The SE wheels are not customizable outside of choosing gloss black or brushed aluminum. I mean, it makes sense. Could you imagine the the utter chaos of the timeline alone if they let things be user decided like that?

Is this a wheel they just have a bunch of stock of? It can’t be that hard for them to call up BC Forged and say “hey, add a few mm of offset to a polished set”?

While I can agree, it’s just not an option. They give you some freedom, like picking the color of stripes, caliper colors, or interior seat color option, but the meat and potatoes of the package are non negotiable. I have no problem with that, and I can understand why. Not a big deal.

The photo shoot in Myrtle Beach is the gift that keeps on giving.

Man, returning to reality has sucked. I wish I was still enjoying my time, and the weather in SC...

Tomorrow I will finally get to bring my car to the big bi-weekly event we have here near me. I received my car in December 2019, so there were no shows happening in the winter. The vid shut down the shows for 2020. Then I sent my car to SA, so tomorrow will be my first BassPro car show with this car. I am looking forward to it.

The only two shows I have brought this car to were Ford Nationals in Carlisle, and Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach. I will be nice to have a short drive for once, lol.

So I have a bunch of pics of your car on my desktop slide show on my work laptop. Been told 3 separate times from 3 separate people "that blue car looks way nicer than your red one". My last reply was "When my car gains enough experience it'll level up. That blue one there is a mustangs ultimate form, power level over 9000!"

Here ya go @Jmeo, I noticed you don’t have these in CF yet 😉

I dealt with MPR a lot while building my car at SA, they are great. I purchased the rear valance and mirror triangles from them. Manny hand delivered the parts to SA for them to install when they put the car back together. I was also on the short list for the replica wing, until I found Susan (or shall I say Susans?).

I have been on their list for these for months, and I indeed will be getting my set shipped next week. Now I just have to dial in the height of my car before I install them.... The stock ones on my car right now have been hitting everything in sight since I got the car back. Just this morning I raised the front another 5mm, which should do the trick.

Thanks for looking out
