Sitting in your very loved car in a parking lot watching other people park is a sure fire way to increase your anxiety. I especially liked the 9,000 year old 4 foot nothing and can probably whoop my ass grandma driving the minivan and giving up after 8 attempts to park in the lines. She luckily didn’t hit any other cars but got super close! Yeesh!!!

After almost 12 years, I may be switching jobs. It's been a great dead end job but it's time to go someplace with some sort of progression. Super scary at 41 and realizing how much basic math I've forgotten but brushing up on it every night now on free websites. Unsure yet where I want to go but a trade for sure. Electrician or HVAC for money or Machinist because it's the only job I've had I actually liked. I LOVE the idea of fabricating but we shall see.

I was a machinist/CNC programer/operator for over 20yrs before I wanted a desk job about 20 yrs ago. Took a LONG time to feel I was of value making pdf, spreadsheets, e-mails, etc. vs something you held in your hands that you MADE! Was still able to go into the shop every now and then and cut some chips. Retired for a few months now and don't miss the desk job for one second. Still miss machining.
