Welp, after today I can say that the guy that did the work on my car is an expert. Please please please find a performance shop or other specialist place that mounts tires. DO NOT take those wheels to a chain shop. The 18 year old there WILL yeet your wheels and mar the edges with the tire machine. They will also lazily mount the wheel weights and it will look like complete shit.
And your lugs will get overtorqued as a bonus. I've lived this nightmare on a previous car, I literally watched them drop one of my rims on its face like it was nothing.
Your GF looks very fit lolJust came to gym and car looked nice so I snapped photos. My gf asked why I don’t take photos of her.
So I said get beside my car. Got a nice shot of the wheel. Shiny

She’s self conscious due to just getting braces to bring down a tooth that didn’t come down growing up. We hit the gym 5 days a week. LolYour GF looks very fit lol
That looks phenomenalWelp, after today I can say that the guy that did the work on my car is an expert.
I ended up sticking with NTB and the store manager there who did the work has been putting on rims for 15 years and has worked with a variety of tire and rim combinations. Not one scuff mark was on my rims when he was done. It took all day for whatever reason (chain store, high volume, they're closed tomorrow due to Easter Sunday), but he didn't mess my stuff up, he took his time, and it all fit with no other parts needed to make it all work.
He straight up told me he'd rather be the one to do it because he knew the other guys in the shop wouldn't care as much as he did. So for that I gave him my appreciation and a tip for giving a damn.
Again for those who haven't seen my other posts in this thread, these are straight from the Ford catalog, their PP2 sized rims, 19x10.5 fronts, 19x11 rears wrapped in Michelin Pilot A/S 3+ tires, 285/35/R19 in the rear, 275/35/19 in the front.
The tires aren't as wide as you find on the PP2 but they look amazing in person.
Gonna clean the car up tomorrow and put a post in the wheel thread.

Good idea - but I have a bazillion keys... they go in the center console ;-)We have a great wash company here. There has been damage to car here and there but they pay everything to repair. Someone actually went through and vandalized machines by driving over the machines etc to damage them
stupid peolle
fried mud, another nice thing is a little Velcro circle

You need to have a "conversation" with your GF. How is it you're allowing her to stand beside the car in shoes that aren't grabber blue, a hair scrunchie that isn't grabber blue, and leotard that isn't? Has she no fashion sense at all?
Agreed - this is crazy.Your a brave man. I never use a car wash.
Last yearMmy neighbor had an incident as his wiper was pulled off the car an beat the car, shattered the windshield. Car wash says not their problem. Her Insurance did pay for all the repairs though
Edit:
Search " car wash goes terribly wrong" in the gt350 section to see the damage to fender. Posted by #lenfeb
Do you use a battery minder? Finally got to drive it after 6 months of hibernation in the garage. Fired right up. The weather cooperated today. Sorry no pictures, I was too busy enjoying the drive.![]()
Idk if I’m justified but most my car is xpel Ppf’d lolAgreed - this is crazy.
If it's too cold for me to get the buckets out and put my hands in the water... I'll just pressure wash it myself and wait for a better day...
Absolutely. Plugged in all winter. Fuel stabilizer before parking it helps too.Do you use a battery minder?
