Today I clay barred my top half of my car, then applied Turtle Wax's new 75th graphene polish
My hands got too tired to finish, tomorrow I'll do the rest. Opening day for CUBS!
The 75th graphene paste wax? Whats your opinion of it?

First mods to my Mustang!

First was an iPhone mount (thanks @FreePenguin for the tip!). Works perfectly!

Next was Rock Blockz. I think they look pretty good - and they’re definitely going to help with all the gravel on these Idaho roads…

How was the install on your RockBlockz? Mine just got here today and I'm going to install them tomorrow. Any tips or tough spots?

Well - I wasn’t sure if I wanted to tell the whole story: but since you asked…

Overall, install was “fine”.

The front go on pretty easily (just turn your wheels to get access) - just pay attention to the plastic push pins you are taking out: they have a little slit on one side for you to stick a screwdriver in to pop the inner part out and then you can pull them out (fought with the first one until I noticed). Other than that: follow the pictures they sent. Oh: also think about the shiny metal washers and hoe to use them… they are not mentioned in the instructions but I just put them on under the vanity washers.

The back is a little more tough - definitely need to take the wheels off. You will also need a drill with a 5/16 drill bit to enlarge one of the mounting holes.

All was going well until I went to push in the final plastic mounting pin on the rear tire well… and it snapped (prongs broke off). Grrr. I ended up reusing one of the plastic push pins I had taken out of the front tire well to pin it down for now (plus it has the screws in the two outer holes). I already contacted RockBlockz about - hopefully they will send me one soon. Just rotten luck!

Let me know if there’s something else you have questions about.

Got these in earlier this week. 275/35/19 front, 285/35/19 rear. They aren’t 305s but these are some meaty tires.

Some of you may have seen my rims.If not I’ve included an image for reference.

This is all getting put on today by NTB. I’ve heard good and bad stories about getting wheels mounted and balanced by them so I’ll just have to pray they don’t royalty screw anything up.

I hate to talk to people like they’re five but I don’t want to have to go through management because someone yeeted my rim.

Please please please find a performance shop or other specialist place that mounts tires. DO NOT take those wheels to a chain shop. The 18 year old there WILL yeet your wheels and mar the edges with the tire machine. They will also lazily mount the wheel weights and it will look like complete shit.

And your lugs will get overtorqued as a bonus. I've lived this nightmare on a previous car, I literally watched them drop one of my rims on its face like it was nothing.

Your a brave man. I never use a car wash.
Last yearMmy neighbor had an incident as his wiper was pulled off the car an beat the car, shattered the windshield. Car wash says not their problem. Her Insurance did pay for all the repairs though

Edit:
Search " car wash goes terribly wrong" in the gt350 section to see the damage to fender. Posted by #lenfeb

We have a great wash company here. There has been damage to car here and there but they pay everything to repair. Someone actually went through and vandalized machines by driving over the machines etc to damage them

stupid peolle

fried mud, another nice thing is a little Velcro circle

I have rough side on the dash, soft on keyfob. You can see rubber tray too.

I love my cradle on my iPhone 5se , and I will replace with iPhone 13 mini
