I see the gen 3 uses a heat range 7 stock now same as the NGK 6510s that are very popular for the older boosted coyotes, NGK does not offer an 8 though. What plugs are people using on their gen 3s besides Brisk? Only other option I see is the Denso ITV24 but I don't hear about many using them.

It makes sense being that it's a higher compression ratio engine now. I feel the 6510 is the wrong heat range for a boosted set up on a gen 3. I'm trying to see who's been running the ITV24s which is equivalent to an 8 but not too many people I see yet.

On a gen 3? How much boost? Would you happen to have any pics of the plugs after they were used?
25 psi at peak, one ethanol e85. 1,075whp

Those plugs look good but how many miles/passes on them? I'd think at over 15 psi a 7 heat range would be way too hot especially on a gen 3 engine.

Where did you hear this? You may be thinking of the gt500's?
I didn't hear it I've seen it. My new 2020 has heat range 7 plugs, it says right on them. They are NGK plugs manufactured for Ford, the only real difference between them and the 6510 is the gap. The 6510s come with a smaller gap. This is most likely why Whipple is now recommending the Denso heat range 8 plugs. I called them and they specifically said not to use the 6510s on boosted gen 3 cars.

Go to any part retailer and put in the information for a 2018/19 and the plugs listed are different than 2020.
Also the stock 2018/19 plugs from ford are discontinued
