What kind of grown man is concerned and counts another mans pockets? A bunch of bitter Queens complaining over here. Complaining about clicks and views...

I don't know about the rest, I'm not complaining, just observing.

They make money off of merchandise. The first 5 min or so are hawking goods.
I hate to say it but I watched some of all these videos. What I didn't understand was pulling the engine from the top and not removing the hood. Maybe they did after the camera was off.

He will milk this for 5 or 6 more 20 min videos.

How many clicks would he get from 10 street racing vid's VS 10 with the headline "Blown GT500 engine What went wrong?"

He took it to a real good engine shop.
Those are the guys that specked the cams and installed them.

So the power levels exceeded the connecting rod capabilities. So i guess that’s a warning to 2020 Gt-500 owners. Be careful when flirting with 1000 whp ..

Since some of us here won't watch his crap. Is this his "expert" analysis of what happened or did it come from someone that actually knows what they're talking about?

There are 2 theories. They do come from L&M engines.

The first thing they said is the cylinder knocked, that bent a rod and tore up the piston top. The bent rod hit the oil pickup tube collapsing it, starving the engine of oil.

At the end of the Vid it was suggested the motor made more power than the rods are capable of holding.

He's not really getting to the root cause here. Easy to blame the rods because they're bent. Again was it a fuel starvation issue? I'd like to see some kind of analysis showing that the rods aren't capable of that HP level. At a surface level that piston was not telling a story that there was an issue with the rods here....

Earlier in the vid they said it was knock or detonation that started the chain reaction.

Right, why did he get knock? Often times connecting rods are overbuilt with a lot of safety factor built in due to the forces they endure. I'm sure he won't put out a video pointing out any user error on his end....

I think he accidentally or on purpose put 93 E10 in the tank on a E85 tune.

I know he said his fuel tested at E80 but that is easy to fudge.

I did wonder if he had made a mistake back at post #107 :

Looks like he had fuelling kit in his boot / trunk ?

He was well out of his area wasn’t he ? Maybe e85 was hard to come by on his journey ? Maybe he got caught with a bad batch ? Maybe he was mixing with race gas to get the e correct and got something wrong ?

I don’t know, e is an unknown to me, I’m just throwing ideas out there for discussion without jumping on and bashing a tuner that might / might not have touched the car at some point in it’s past :like:

It just seems like a big unknown / small margin of error / high risk potential to me.
