It may explain the same perspective in the aftermarket, a "performance" part won't be taken seriously if it has comfort features.

Also the answer is no, no one does, nor do I expect them to ever make an aftermarket sport wheel that is heated. I'd love to be proved wrong.

I wish Dynaperformance offered to swamp up top and bottom carbon fiber plastic for leather. I wonder how heated feature would affect the plastic pieces over time? Too many unknowns to dump even $800

I always wanted a Beith wheel but I dont think I have it in me to drop $1k on a steering wheel right now.

What I like about Socal is they take off $75 if you want full Alcantara instead of CF and then they take off another $75 if you send your wheel to them after you receive your new one all on top off 15% off.

Really not a bad deal from a company of such quality

Nice find. What did he quote you if you don’t mind me asking? I found a company in UK they do it for $500 which isn’t bad. Someone else did it on here and it looked great

Here is the price brakedown for the options:

- Flat Top and Flat bottom $590
- thicker wheel $150 1/16 inch padding
- thumb rests $170
-Black Alcantara
-Gray stitching
-Dark Grey Top center stripe $40

For the black Alcantara there will be two options. Deep black (right) is the most intensive black from Alcantara collection and Charcoal black (left) has a slight gray shadow. Please find picture attached.

If I lived somewhere cold I would try using some rechargeable heated gloves. Not sure if they work well or anything and I havent tried any but thats what I would probably try. It would be nice to have a heated wheel though, ive never had one, I live in Florida barely gets below 50* here.

There are no unknowns. I spoke to dyno. The only parts that are heated are the leather parts. Heat can’t work through plastic. Lol.

Ah, thanks for sharing. That makes the heated feature pretty useless since only 30% of the wheel is leather

Yes but at least you still have it. I only ever put it on to get a temporary fix to a cold wheel. it goes off within a minute or two.
