Suggestions for protecting footwell

Greets all,

I was trying to get some suggestions for what would be best to protect the circled area. As we all know no matter how much we are careful we will always end up hitting that area and scoffing it up, so I wanted to know has anyone thought of protecting this area, and if so what have you used or suggest. That is one of those parts that is shared with any other S550. The part comes out easily and installs easily. I would get a price on it and if its cheap, not worry about it. Now here is one that is going to bake your noodle, the side splitter behind the front tires (underneath) takes a real beating. I cutout a piece of Xpel and covered the surfboard section to keep it from getting chewed up.

I just replaced mine because it was scratched along with the center console(replaced by dealer already) when delivered and its a I min job and 30 bucks so no biggie.

$30 huh, okay then its not worth going crazy, I didnt even know what to search for, Mind posting the part number? I'll buy both sides and store them for future use. I didnt expect $30 with the way everything else costs on this car I expected way more. especially being from the dealer.

I'm not there yet, still babying the car till I hit 1,000 Miles.

I will get the number for you tomorrow when I go to the garage
but it is same part for all S550's

These should be the part numbers for the Scuff Plates
Right side FR3Z-6313208-AC
Left side FR3Z-6313209-AB

They are about $20 at Taska Parts but you might be able to find them cheaper some place else.
