"Service Advancetrac" "drive mode options not avaiable"

Anyone had any of these when pushing the car relatively hard? I was on a very small circuit, it was just over 100F outside, and I forgot to switch off advancetrac completely; so I was in track mode. I noticed the advancetrac fighting me pretty bad out of the corners, and after a few laps I got those errors, plus a lack of power. I pulled in, let her cool down for 10 min, restarted, all back to normal.
Did another session with no issues, but I switched off advancetrac completely. On my drive back home, all good in normal mode.
I read about wheel sensors causing this, could it be dirt ? We were driving on and off a very dusty environment...

Ever have any hesitation when starting?
Original battery?
Is the battery kept on a battery tender?

When the voltage drops in these cars, the advancetrac seems to be one of the first electrical gremlins that presents itself (particularly on track). On track the thought process being that the plates shift inside the battery causing a voltage drop, which the car doesn’t like (which happened to me at track attack, and I think @Tomster on the banks at Daytona if I remember correctly.) There have also been many examples of it happening when not on track when someone’s battery is nearing replacement (which happened in my Ford Explorer.)

My guess.... and this is purely a guess without knowing more, a new battery is in your future.

If stability control and traction control are fighting you, you are doing something wrong. The only time I have seen it intervene is when I made a mistake.

Now what @pilotgore was talking about with the banks (roval course) is the gyros get screwed up and cause a fail of advance track along with a failure of other sub systems. The car continues to drive fine, but it is important to know that there is no more babysitting..... you screw up, and the nannies aren't there to save you.

Needless to say, when this phenomenon happens to me, I just keep on driving. I dont change anything because the S550 GT350 is a very stable car and like other people have demonstrated, you have to be doing some stupid stuff to wind up sideways.

The remedy? I found that after the session is over, drive it around a bit on the street to recage the system and it normally goes away. Another way that you can keep it from coming back is to drive in sport mode. For some reason, the system doesn't fail as if in track mode. Honestly, sport vs track doesn't make much of a difference. As lomg as you don't screw up, neither mode will kick in unless it sees a reason to. Sport doesn't give you as much leeway as track.... but again, don't give either system a reason to intervene and neither system will.

Thanks ; battery is always 14.x as seen on dash, and has been kept with a tender always when left longer than 2 weeks... As I said, I forgot to disable advance trac completely, and was in track mode...

It was a car control clinic, so you were supposed to keep a controlled drift through turns, hence the advancetrac trying to fight me and control the car... They have water sprinklers into the track, so you can induce a slide and learn to keep it under control... Pretty cool I should say. I learned how hard it is to control 526 HP once the back swings out. By the time I finished, I was able to do a few complete turns going sideways, you are supposed to look through the side windows

The thing is; when problem occurred, the dash was blinking "service advancetrac" and "drive mode selection unavailable" and the exhaust valve closed. It felt down on power too, but I can't really say as I was close to the pit lane and I just went in...

Check the magneride sensors at each of the four wheels. I had one come loose on me and it kept freaking out AdvanceTrac.
