I don't know all the reasons, but the last one that was cancelled was a Base car with painted stripes, it was replaced with a new VIN for a CFTP with painted stripes, both to the same dealer. I think the dealer was also the customer. They were the last 2 VINS to be issued, 3143 & 3134. The rest of them were a mix of Base and CFTP cars. Why are vins cancelled?
The cancellations may just be a case of wanting to change the color or some other option that could not be changed and the only way for the dealer to get what he wanted was to cancel the VIN and use his allocation for a car that he needed.
