The exact same thing happened to me and I had the same feeling you had. I think my dealer sold his allocation to another dealer for a quick buck and figured he had me on his hook for a 2021. I cancelled and had to hire a lawyer to get my deposit back. This whole order/allocation process makes no...
It was unscheduled clean for months...just never assigned a vin and gave no hint if it would be assigned. The Ford rep kept saying to the dealer owner that it would most likely be MY 2021. When I heard that after waiting almost a year I said no mas...lol
I just cancelled my order ( ordered 7/2/19 ) when I still couldn’t get a vin or any horizon for one. If anyone wants to take my place at this dealer PM me
It is still unscheduled material hold. The only thing the rep told my dealer is the car would be built before the end of the year. The GT 500 is a nice car...but no way will I ever wait 18 months for a car and further put up with the games that Ford seems to be playing . My dealer is relatively...
Last week Snoop. My dealer was pushing their rep for at least a VIN , zero response from Ford. Dealer sold me his allocation and I feel there is a reason my Car is not scheduled. I’ve seriously lost interest in this car and Ford.
Vern, join the club . I’ve been unscheduled since July 7 with a priority code 10. Next week I’m pulling the plug on my order. I’ve had it with Ford.
I ordered from a small dealer as well freedom in July. They had an allocation and took a healthy deposit...I had a copy of a priority 10 order given to Ford. They had a form from Ford I had to sign saying it was a customer order and gave Ford all my contact info. I am sure client orders from...
I am the same as you Freedom...ordered July 2019... supposed to be built April...now no information from anyone. I am getting ready to pull the plug. They cannot deliver what I ordered give me my deposit back.
I’d love to know the Real formula that goes into which cars are produced. I ordered mine in early July ( base model ) and my dealer gave me his first allocation...not a word from Ford on when they plan to build this car. My dealer follows up with their rep who says they have no word. I am...
it sounds correct. They won’t take a deposit until, they know they have an allocation. If I were you I’d follow up in February so they know you’re serious. They are good guys but the first one that walks through the door sells the car.
They are out of allocations for the 2020 model..if they know you want one they will give you the 2021 allocation ( if you commit now or soon ) or if you want one sooner secure a car at another dealer and you pay the fee they need to give the other dealer
What really bothers me is I ordered my car the day the order banks opened...I wont get my car until March or April and a dealer gets an unsold car for price gouging. I guess clients who paid money and played by the rules get second place. Kind of stupid by Ford.
