I added 3 gallon of ms 109 to 11 gallons of 93 Shell, after a mile or so it seemed to become more responsive and wanting to review easily, anybody try this on there untuned GT?

You would be about 96 octane at that combo. Stock tune won't add any additional timing beyond 93 octane but would assist any knock you may be having. It's like being tuned for 93 but adding boostane. Helps knock but if not tuned for it your not getting extra power. Now if you got tuned for it they could ramp up timing and you'd definitely get more power.

With 12.0 compression anything better than 91,93 octane pending the computer ability to spread the timing is a + especially down low in the rpms.

Lol. You would be better off (and much cheaper and cat safe) just putting 3-4 gallons of E85 in for the octane boost and cooling effects. ;).

I have personally logged it on stock tune.

Sorry to piggyback off another thread - I'm going to the track tomorrow and they only offer 116 (and up) race gas. Will it hurt anything to put some of that in my car if I start to run low on fuel? Bone stock 2018 GT.

I put Bosch Platinum Plugs in my 1984 Ford Escort GT when I was young, dumb, and full of cum. It felt faster....I convinced myself at the time . Gained a lot of wisdom and understanding since then.

I agree with the E85 post. I do a mix of 2 gallons E85 (we get the good stuff here in Cali) with 2 gals of VP101 Unleaded. Keep in mind the car will probably see a benefit up to 94 or so octane. After that diminishing returns. Also some cars don't hit timing targets in stock tuned cars with 93ndeoending in conditions.

The factory stock tune adds timing up to 96 octane according to Ford, I`m going to try 96 when the track opens back up.

If it is leaded fuel it'll mess with your o2 sensors...

Buy a 5 gallon pale of MS109 and blend it with fuel at the track.

WHere did you read that? Ford's timing limiting strategy and the limit on that is 91 octane. Any higher octane & you won't gain not even 1 horsepower on a stock tune.

Add a couple of gallons of that 116 with at least 7-10 gallon of pump gas it'll dillute it enough to be safe on them o2, Ive done it numerous times with 100 LL and never had a o2 problem, heck I've ran 100LL straight on different cars with full tanks as long as you refill with pump fuel, the o2 is covered with soot from pump fuel to protect it short term but then lead will begin to wash and take over the o2 and game over been there done it
