116 is leaded. It will slow you down and also take a bit of life out of your O2 sensors.Sorry to piggyback off another thread - I'm going to the track tomorrow and they only offer 116 (and up) race gas. Will it hurt anything to put some of that in my car if I start to run low on fuel? Bone stock 2018 GT.
Adding MS109 to a stock engine without a tune won’t provide any performance gains. But it does smell like Heaven, and creates a lot of fun running it in a weed eater mixed with Maxima 927 castor oil. #vpsmellfromthegods
So just to confirm your saying that MS109 added to a non tuned engine will make a difference, 93 or 91 blended on a stock tune with stock compression? In my own research dudes that run race gas in a stock engine 98% of the time also own at least 2 Affliction shirts, and at least 1 Flat Bill Hat Bro! #seatofthepantsdynoYou would use it in a blend to get to 93 octane in areas you can only get 91 octane.
As the IATs climb the higher octane will he’ll keep it from pulling timing.
That said your not going to see much(if any) on a cold day over 93 octane.
I just put in 2.5 gallons of E85 in the summer.
