I have to either slouch in my seat, or bend my neck every time I want to see what's behind me, because the mirror doesn't tilt up enough to meet my gaze when I'm sitting straight. I wonder what can be done about this, some aftermarket mirror maybe?

6'2" No problem here. I have the 6 way adjustable seat and found the perfect setting for it.

You could try rotating the mirror 180 degrees. The pivot point where the arm connects is not centered on the back of the mirror. Rotating it 180 will allow you to push it closer to the roof and change the angle it can tilt.

I’m 6’1 so the mirror isn’t an issue but seeing stop lights is sometimes. Like if I’m first in line I have to crane my neck to see it because of the roof line.

And it worked! I had this car almost a year and all this time I never realized the mirror could tilt further up. Thanks!

6'6", no issues with the rear view mirror although +1 on the "seeing stop lights when I'm first at the light is a pain." But that's nothing unique to the Mustang, that's any car I drive.

I'm with Joe - 6'7" have a very nice lean going in the car ... but no issues - but first at the light causes some problems, lol.

How tall are you? 6'2" here and much like every reply on this thread there is no problem. Maybe the mirror is defective.

Lowered (aftermarket) seats solves this as well as fitting with a helmet.
