Installed this in my 2015 over the winter. I can’t comment on the results yet as the roads here are still a mess.
DUDE!!!!

That's fantastic. Please make sure to follow up on this, I'm massively interested in knowing how that works out.

What product did you use?

It’s called Kilmat, I bought 36 sq feet for about $60. I bought it on Amazon and it gets good reviews. I doubled it up over the differential hump to hopefully dull the torsen “clunk” .
Here is a link:

I have zero drone with my 18’ GT with active exhaust. Even after I cut out the resonator and put my Corsa double X pipe from my 15’ GT I still have no drone even in track mode.

My '19 GT A10 drones at 2k as well, I have the active exhaust. The sound tube pipes engine noise into the cabin at idle, above idle it really does nothing. I tried removing it, drone didn't go away. I will say that the cabin gets really quiet when you're idling at a stop light for example. I have the Llyods mat in the trunk as well, along with a spare tires in the well and that didn't make a noticeable difference either. I tend to run the system in sport or track all the time and have always intended to replace the stock center muffler/resonator suitcase with an H-pipe. I have a feeling besides bringing the volume up, that this will eliminate the drone but I haven't done that yet so nothing to report personally. Finally thought if you REALLY want to hear drone, drive a stock Challenger in sport mode. The drone will practically rattle the fillings out of your teeth, it's nauseating.
My 19 GT w/AE has drone at 2k RPM as well... but only if I have it set to Track Exhaust - there is no noticeable drone in any other setting. Stop running the exhaust in track all the time. :p

Likewise, as others have noted, I only notice drone when the exhaust is set to Track mode while cruising on the highways.

Try driving with rear seat bottom off, you'll notice increased road noise and mechanical sound level. Sound deadening pad on the rear floor panel is a MUST.

I have the same 2k Drone in my 2019 GT Convertible (6speed). Its tiring to hear every time I take my foot off the gas in stop and go around town traffic. Being a Virt I expect to get more road noise from the soft-top but the drone is different.
I'm now looking at custom exhausts for a real solution.
BTW I picked up a Trunk Floor liner and it helped with other road and exhaust noises, just not a fix for the 1900-2000 RPM drone sound.

A corsa exhaust would not drone, we sell them at the link below-

HI Leroy,
Thanks for this. I'm not looking for any aggressive sound. In the Virt - less is more for me and my old ears.
Would you have any other recommendations for a convertible with 2.5" pipes? I would open to a quieter than Stock car if it had No Drone at 2K RPMs. Can I Replace the Suitcase Resonator with a different muffler or something with a Cat or Axel Back system?
I'm wide open to all options. Thank you!
(Not joking, I have hearing issues...)
