Is been about 6 months now since i took my car to the dealer to have the loose gas door fixed and I have been calling the dealer and ford service 1800 number and I am not getting any response. The dealer keeps telling me ford has to approve it and when I call ford they are telling me to contact the dealer. The case has been escalated and I am still getting no where.

I paid 60k plus for this car and I can't even get a simple repair done. God knows when times comes and I need bigger repairs.

Find a better dealer. This is ridiculous.

Agreed on finding another dealer. Something doesn't seem right.

It is ridiculous a dealer does not jump on a warranty repair. The dealer gets paid by Ford for the warranty work. And they get a happy customer with a fix they need not pay for. This should be a win win for the Dealer. Something smells that the dealer is not getting approval to do the warranty job. And I would suspect it is something about that dealer.

Agree, the issue is with the dealer.

Sorry to say man, you have a shitty dealer service department and advisors. The guy I've been working with does everything in his power to get my concerns resolved, and with great results.

I wasn't happy with my Service Advisor so I talked to the Service Manager. He changed me to another Service Advisor that was more experienced and that changed my service for the better. No complains after that.

I also spoke to the service manager he told me we are a private dealership and you need to call Ford and please do not bother my service advisor because he can't do anything for you and is out of our hands .

Another dealer was a good suggestion.
Best of luck.

That seems like a reasonable trade, but are they gonna throw in anything else to make it square?
