my car arrived 2.5 weeks ago with some blemishes on a stripe. Dealer said hey we will cover it. the stripes came in today. ( they sent a full set ) I said hey you guys will probably screw up the install which the service manager said that could be very possible so I said hey just give me the stripes and when and if I feel like it I will get it done properly.

The service manager said no can do even if we worked out a deal and I had my guy replace the stripes all warranty parts go back to ford??? so they would want the old ones.

I am inclined to do nothing as the blemishes are not bad and only truly show when the sun hits them just right thoughts?

part 2; seat belts extenders; there are no adjustments to the seat belt it is hitting me on my throat partially no matter how I adjust seats. The boys on the forum recommend seat belt extenders which the parts manager said he would gladly get but there was no part number that correlates for any gt 350 15- 18. He than laughed and said those are for fat people not for any other adjustments he ordered the part number I got offer the forum life is good

Those stripes are very expensive. I had some replaced on mine under warranty. Since your in Chicago I would find a reputable car shop that does stripes and have them redo them (not just a body shop) and give you the old ones back. Of course your dealership needs to know who's doing it and that you will get old stripes back. You can take it to any striping shop under warranty. Definitely don't let the dealership attempt to replace them. It could cause more problems then those that do it as a profession.

The seatbelt extenders you get are for a focus, but they fit the 350 just fine. They do eliminate the neck rub(Thank god).
