Finally got off my Butt and posted pictures of my new 2020 GT Premium. The only thing to date that pisses me off is FORD deleted the Map Pockets from the rear of the seats. I did use them for Maps and an occasional Restaurant menu. You'd think for a car that listed out for $48,320.00 the seats would still contain the Map Pockets. IN OTHER NEWS, I do love rowing gears and my 18 GT 6 speed was a blast. But this 10 speed Auto is the Real Deal and this new car really hauls ass. Good Stuff Boys and Girls.
I agree that the map pockets are useful and there was no reason to delete them on a near $50k car. Additionally, the power passenger seat went to a 4 way from a 6 way in a price range where other cars have a 15 way power seat.

Almost forgot, while both the 2019 and 2020 builder pages were both up, I priced out a Premium GT and the 2020 was $1,000 higher for the same car. Nothing like getting less for more.

"Sir is that your car? How do you like it?" Translation - why the hell is an oldtimer like you driving that?
It's simple - you're never too old to enjoy a well balanced platform that brings a smile to your face each time you press that button. The active exhaust simply enhances the experience.

I like the jealous looks of the retirees & younger people when I take mine out for a cruise to nowhere. Until someone deems me to be too old to drive or if I'm physically/mentally malfunctioned, I'll keep driving my GT's.

I'm sure I said this before, but it's worth repeating. A few years ago I pulled into the post office in my then '13 GT convertible, and another gentleman about my age (68) stopped me and said "isn't that a young mans car?". To which I replied, "what makes you think I'm not a young man".

I'm sure I've posted this before: As I clambered out of my car in the service lanes at the dealer, a mid-fortyish (young) man trotted over, smiling broadly, and said, "My friend has trouble getting in and out of his Corvette, too, but says it's worth it!"

I could only agree, and smile my most beatific.

As a senior citizen I'm curious-how many other old guys are buying Mustang GTs? When I traded in my E350 (for my 19 GT) the look on the salesman's face was priceless.
I'm wondering how much of an anomaly I might be and if not, how many other "older enthusiasts" are enjoying their GTs?
I get questions constantly at the car wash (typically from Audi and Beemer owners) "Sir is that your car? How do you like it?" Translation - why the hell is an oldtimer like you driving that?

I am 73 and I decided that the Mustang with a Coyote 5 litre was a must have for the next few years. Been riding bikes for years and my hips are getting bad and pushing my 900lb bike backwards is getting tougher. Considered buying a trike but looking at 35 to 40 thousand for something that we can only ride for 5 months tops didn't make sense when I could do the Mustang or Z4 Beemer for the same price and drive year round if I wanted too. The auto with paddle shifters is a real hoot.
The GT convert that I bought is a blast to drive and I don't regret the choice.

I purchased my first Mustang in October 2015. A base GT with PP. The previous summer I looked at the Harley trikes. I could not believe the price they wanted. It's only a Harley with a differential rear end and some fiberglass body work. I purchased that Mustang at $5,000.00 less than they wanted for the Harley.

Scottie, if I could have found a good yellow convertible, it would have been a no brainer. Yours is really sharp. So wanted to reclaim my AVISPA license plate over here in FL.

Beats the snot out of a Z4, huh?
