KB, not sure if you are using PB or Lightroom (or both) but that image looks to be over sharpened by quite a bit without any noise reduction. No?

Tob: That's Google Earth's doing, I didn't use any sharpening at all.

As for software, yes, I use both but I'm in PS a lot more because I have so many plug-ins and LR doesn't support adding content to an image.

That's weird. If I over sharpen it looks exactly like that when trying to clear up a somewhat blurry image.

Out of curiosity, which method are you using to "lasso" said beach attired ladies? Always a pain to capture detail such as random hair strands, etc.

E: The key is layer masks. Lots of good tutorials on YT on how to use them.
