oh and that was over 5 years ago...when our S550's were just coming out. but hey, if you wanna throw thousands of dollars towards weight savings to gain a tenth, by all means don't stop now, stuff like that shouldn't make any sense I guess.

If we were here to spend the least amount of money possible, we would all be driving something else. You should be driving a Fox Mustang instead of a 2018, no?

I'm just talking about what makes sense to me. I don't care if common sense isn't very common these days (especially on a forum). You can go argue with someone else today bud, I'm not biting on the bait. I stand by my opinion of this 100%. I have this opinion because its a waste of money when so many other things are so much more important.

It appears to connect the a pillar to the main unibody. Nothing behind it. Wonder what the reasoning for it is. Maybe used on the assembly line?
Good thought and it makes sense. With everything welded in place maybe those two bolts can go and save an additional 1/4lb

Don't forget the weight savings of exhaling BEFORE you get in the car and holding your breath during a timed run, I mean weight savings is everything to some people. LOL.

Doesn't make any sense stripping out an S550 interior for less than .1 down the 1320. Your hacking up a car visually to gain less in times than you can get if you just replace yourself with a fast skinny 100 lb chick. Again...makes zero sense to me! If you want a lighter car, buy a foxbody...
He road he races his car. I believe it's not streetable so hacking it up is of little consequence to him

I get that. I really do. But I have quite a lot of experience in this area. I stripped a '85 fox as far as it would go, 2890 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas. Essentially it turned into a tin can, when I shut the doors it sounded like I dropped an empty tin can, the drone inside was horrible, and the funny thing, all that weight savings was for nothing if i spun the tires on launch. All the weight savings can be a waste of time and money if you spin the tires. And that's my whole point...people wasting thousands of dollars in an effort to go quicker, when most of the time, you don't end being quicker, you just ruin the car and the experience in the car. But hey, if someone wants to ruin their car, they have that right....just don't tell me it guarantees it to be quicker, because it just doesn't.

So if I am understanding your argument, a 4400 pound Dodge Hellcat will perform as well as a 3250 pound Porsche 911 GT2RS on a road course.

Seems like you don't understand my argument then. And again, that doesn't matter to me, nor does it negate my experience either. Lots of people on this forum gets subjective vs objective things wrong when they take things so personally. Doesn't mean I'm gonna tip toe around your feelings either...I really don't care what you think actually.

You say that expecting me to care? LOL. My opinion is mine, I could give two shits if you or anyone else cares about it.
Looks to me like you do give two shits, otherwise you wouldn't still be posting the same thing over and over again.

Your opinion of me is none of my business. Nor do I care what it is. Didn't stop you from trolling the thread anyways....which is typical here, sad to say.

Proceeds to say that you don't care, yet takes the time to make multiple comments bitching about it :cwl::cwl::cwl:

If I wanted to go fast for cheap, I'd buy a Miata and turbo it. Super miatas are bloody fast and will run circles around the shit chassis and suspension of a fox body.

Our goals are different and that's fine. I'm having plenty of fun with "lack of common Sense" approach and that's all I care about. Life's too short to be grumpy and judge other people anyways.

Its not a waste of your money. Therefore your opinion is completely irrelevant
