I just realized that while i was driving in the car and you can lock the doors and it actually also locks the lid of the center console as well... i went to grab my wallet out of it while driving and wouldn't open till i unlocked the doors again..

I'm pretty sure that's not true ... I think it was just a coincidence.

I'll be taking it for a drive later and do have the "Enhanced Security Package" but I'm 99.9% sure I've reached into the console to grab some mints while the doors were locked ... will confirm though.

I did it the other day to show my daughter. When we were in the car and I locked the doors, the console was still unlocked - I thought it would lock. I got out of the car and she stayed in the car, I locked the doors, and she tried the console and it was locked.

I would have no way knowing. No one around here seems to know how to turn off a light or shut a door. Constantly walking thru the house turning crap off.

Mine must be set up different ... if im driving on the highway and lock the doors the console locks.... from what i've read up about it...it's main use is for the convertible mustang
