you had no knock with 93?

My base cal was from last year some time. Do you happen to have a hp tuners read of the cal you have now?
Even with high octane I did see some knock on the dyno but very rarely if ever on the street .

do you remember the timing you were able to get on tip in, and full boost on 104.

just put a full can of boostane pro in my tank and I still see knock on tip in. I'm checking the exhaust for rubbing tomorrow.

I'm still seeing as much as 4 degrees on tip in, with it typically hitting as low as 13.5 degrees when I start the pull with it getting up to 17.5 around 6krpm.

I recall getting as much as that degree of knock tnot consistently) on dyno (on tip in )even with 104 octane ....without adding timing with the tool .

Max timing was about that 17-18 * with 93 and 104 . I was able to see about 20* on some pulls when it did not knock when I added 1.6-2.4*

It was still there even with 116 octane but when I made pulls on the street it was not so I decided it was some false knock being picked up on the dyno .

If you send me you email I can send you my logs .
I also posted my findings earlier in this thread .

I'm planning to do OPG this Winter. That said I'm curious why OPG upgrade is considered a supporting mod for boosted systems.

What about a boosted engine stresses the OPG more than a stock setup?

Nicely done @T.M.Lad. I had always thought about going boost, but I think I'll just leave her the way she is. My 1/4 track days are just about done. Just do not have the time anymore.

I agree. Turbos are truly a great option. The Fat Fab ones are beautiful. The price tag scare most away though.

Considering upgrading clutch when engine goes back in and looking at options .

I know there were some issues with the McLeod RXT but don’t know if those have been resolved .

Other options are twin disc Spec and twin and triple disc Mantic
Mantic looks like the most $$$.
Leaning towards the Spec and feel the P trim ratesd at 1100 at the fly wheel would be just right.
https://www.specclutches.com/875823

The SS trim is $100 cheaper but rated a little lower at 1010.
They are also doing a 10% off sale now .

Never tried Spec before as always used the McLeod RXT in my GT’s (MT82 and Magnum ) but not if they are still having issues .

My Engine rebuild has started so it would be a good time to upgrade the clutch when the motor goes back in .

I did not ever feel the stock one slip to be honest but wonder if it could be the reason car seemed down on power (more likely down on compression)

Installed a Hellion turbo system over the winter - I couldn't be happier.

9lbs on 93 - tuned by Palm Beach Dyno

So, how much power did it make? What size turbo did you go with ?

Let , me know how you like it long term, i've always been afraid of the hot side location.

I heard they were doing a sleeper kit for the gt350 and i was going to wait till that comes out for a while...

But lets face it i'll probably wear the new off my car a little more before i do anything. I should have never test drove the one with the 3.5" pulley whipple when i was shopping.

i just re-read this entire thread and it looks like whipple is the shelby choice...no procharger is.

there's only 1 way to settle this. @madlag (ProCharger) and @Kobi Addiction (Whipple) need to line it up, please do 3 pulls from 30, 40, and 60. :like:
