Awesome, I was most likely going with TSP anyway :sunglasses:

So if I have a 3” exhaust that’s designed to connect to the factory cats/manifolds, and I get TSP headers with cats - do those connect? Custom fab needed?

No, TSP are factory connect. I’ve had mine bolted up to my MBRP catback and OEM catback.

I ran Kook's on my 2013 and absolutely loved them.

Coupled with the Magnaflow cat back + X-pipe you could scare people like it was your job.

That’s exactly what I’m running on my 18. It’s pretty rowdy, but I’ve got active,so I can tone it down a little with quiet mode

Had a bad experience with Pypes just FYI. The set went on, and the passenger side leaked badly at the collector where the tubes meet and are welded (or supposed to be welded in the center). While the flanges all mounted up and sealed the problem was the center where welding was not performed to seal around all four header tubes on the inside. Better made headers like Kooks have a better designed collectors that are assembled better than just stuffing four pieces of SS tubing into a generic collector and welded around the outside leaving potential leaks to occur in the middle where there is nothing to plug the area that the tubes meet. The place I bought mine from for my 2005 went through three sets and then resorted to pulling the passenger side header off of a mach up display engine in the show room before they found a header that was welded good enough not to leak. At that the units started leaking within about a year. I traded it before the leaks got bad enough to start causing issues.

If you take a look at better made headers like SW, Kooks, or ARH you will see the difference if you look down the center of the collector. I am not a fan of beating up on a product but this was not an "OOPS" case. This was three consecutive sets with a failure on the very same header. The header that actually sealed and did not leak in that area was an older unit that had been on display for some time.

Leaky headers will not only smell up the car, but they will cause tuning issues potentially as well. So save up the extra cash and go with the better USA made product.

Had SW on my 2015. I went with Ebay headers on my 2019. I can honestly say that the difference between the two is not worth the price difference. The Ebay headers are great quality for the price and I can't suggest wasting the additional $800+ on brand name headers.

Work got super crazy... So I'm way behind. But I got the passenger side buttoned up. Clearance is good. I can still adjust the motor further to driver's side if needed.

FYI I ended up installing 3 header bolts on the top side, too little clearance for my patience level lol. Glad I had some left over from my last header install.

The best of the best are going to be ARH, Kooks and Stainless Works. We've been running Kooks and ARH on our project cars for many years with awesome results. They're all made here in the US with high quality stainless steel. Excellent fitment and performance from them all.

If you're looking for a budget minded setup then the Texas Speed headers as well as Pypes are going to be your next best bet.

We carry all of these including Corsa and JBA.

ARH is currently on sale through the end of the month and as always we guarantee the best pricing and customer service on everything we sell.

Let us know if there's anything we can help you with.

had TSP on for over 2 years now, no issues. Went in like a glove.

PS. for customer service/products you can't go wrong with Lethal or Beefcake.

I have an 18 GT 6speed & was wanting everyone’s opinions on what you thought are the best long tube headers on the market. Thx
Hey! If you aren't on a tight budget i would suggest ARH, Kook's, Stainless works. If you are looking for a more pocket friendly option i would say Texas Speed is the way to go. They all carry great quality and fitment. It looks like you received a lot of good feedback here from many members. We sell them all here and can definitely help you out. Feel free to send me a PM or give us a call with any additional questions. www.lethalperformance.com

Will definitely score mine from you when it's time, I'm sort of local-ish :D Just swapping cars, currently in a '16 GT PP 6-speed convertible, looking to get into a 18/19 GT A10 convertible (may not even go Perf Pack this time). Going to do headers this time, plus a FlexTune from Torrie here in St. Augustine.
