Been trying to figure out what exhaust to run for my car for a while now. I live in a condo/townhouse right now so I have neighbors sharing walls on both sides of me and we park right in front of the units, so I think my options are somewhat limited. I would be open for anything up to a catback system.
I really like the tone of the stock exhaust, if I could find a way to just make that louder. I think a lot of exhaust options out there change the tone completely. I met someone with an X pipe and muffler delete system and it sounded great, but it was just way too loud for where I live, especially on cold startup. I think an active system would be perfect but I don't know how involved that would be. Ideally I would run an H pipe and muffler delete, but again, it would be too loud, so I've wondered if just doing one of those would be good.
I'd like the interior to be louder as well as the exterior. I'd like to hear the car while cruising, and I'd like to turn some heads. Some brands I've come across would be Flowmaster, Magnaflow, SLP, Solo Performance, Corsa, Borla, MBRP.
So, really just looking for advice or recommendations from people that live in condos/apartments that have been through this process.
