So mine was supposed to be delivered yesterday, and when I checked this morning it updated from 1 day left to 2 days left. On my windows sticker is shows a blend date of 12/31 does that mean that that when the car entered the production line? Need some clarification. Thanks!

From what I learned from the thread somewhere on here about window stickers is that your blend or build date is actually 2/7/19 based on the code - it reads year-month-day first number doesn’t count 1 20190207 - so I think your production should still be good but transit could be an issue maybe. I think Ford Performance could tell you if something was up, can you call them?

The blend date shown was 2/7, but that was generated before the 3 week shutdown from 1/17 through last week. My window sticker blend date (the date the car is scheduled to come off the line) was 2/8, but the status just updated to "Body Shop" (where they begin assembly) yesterday. After the body shop, it goes to paint, then final assembly, and then QC before queuing for shipment (unless there's a problem such as no steering wheel).

The unscheduled shutdown appears to have slid things a few weeks across the board for cars that should have gone one the line after mid-January..

Three week shutdown?? Why did that happen?

Where did you hear this, is this just normal wheels ,gt350 gt ?
Yesterday I got confirmation my gt350 was in production and was able to get window sticker.
I was told car was supposed to go into production 2-22 so being early is good, delivery 3-24, will see.

Are you sure it is not the 18th or the 25th? Build weeks are normally not dated on Friday's.

Large scale parts availability shutdown based on all the Mexican suppliers in Matamoros, as opposed to the current "WTF is it with steering wheels?" issue that's effecting some cars. The Flat Rock plant went down at end-of-day on 1/17, came back up on 2/11.

I am not quite seeing the connection between Mexico and a plant shutdown in Feb so I guess we will have to take your word for it. In my case no big deal now what’s another 3-weeks in this 5-month build nightmare lol

That does not sound good. Have you tried to contact your dealer or Ford Performance about this? Maybe they can at least find out if your vehicle has a Hold or any other flag on it?
Nah. Only because I'm not in a huge rush and the weather is crappy. It has now updated to EDD of 2/24.

Sorry to ask that on this thread, but I read that there is a problem with the steering wheel on certain Mustang. What does this issue consist in? I did some research on the forum (with the tool made for it) and could not find precisions about it.

Please can somebody explain me that? I am waiting for a Mustang built in january.

There was a 3-week strike at a bunch of supplier plants in Matamoros, Mexico, in January. As a result, the Mustang line at Flat Rock shut down for 3 weeks at the end of January / beginning of February due to a widespread parts shortage. When parts began to flow again, they restarted the line, but ran out of steering wheels for certain (unknown which at the moment) option packages. They continued to produce the cars, but a large number were made without steering wheels and are now parked at the Flat Rock plant awaiting their arrival.

"Best guess" estimates from employees at the plant are that things should return to normal "sometime" in March. Cars without steering wheels will have the wheels fitted, then continue on through the QC process to shipping.

Thanks for all those details!
So, mine (European one) has been built on january 10th so I guess it had not have this issue.

Big thoughts to those who are awaiting their cars. I know that it can be really long.

Seems like a good bet. The plant was running normally until January 17.
