So 'base' 'Stangs get the Trac-Loc clutch pack LSD.

Note the 'mobility pack' has an expiration date. Mine is 12/04/2023 (i.e. 5 years). Wonder if the battery goes dead, the 'slime' solidifies, or ??? Anyway, looks like you're supposed to chuck the whole thing and donate a few more bucks to Ford.

Edit: When I pulled the 'mobility pack' to check its expiration date, I noted the hold-down for it is a cheap, flimsy plastic disk, and the bolt (stud?) is, IMO, undersized. Jeez, Ford, what happened to the older hold-down, which could actually hold a spare tire down?
$1 here, $1 there, and probably $3 for the dual horn delete. It all ads up...….

Getting stranded really sucks so I ordered one a week ago. Due sometime this week. The kit isn't cheap though!
Don't so much mind paying $400 for the wheel, but $100 for the scissor jack and wrench!!!!! Will probably just get the wheel and source the jack/wrench from somewhere else for 1/3 of the price.....

Sorry for any confusion, all 4 wheels and tires were the same size originally. Now my rears are wider but pretty much still at the 27" diameter stock size, so another stock wheel/tire works anywhere on my GT/CS.

My spare arrived today. I need to go to the hobby store and get some fabric/felt to lay down. I'm not going to cut up the fabric that came with the car as I like the idea of keeping things "factory". My question is will this felt/fabric hold moisture and potentially cause any issues with rust? What does Ford do with the factory spares that are included in the non PP cars?

Standing up the spare is 27 inches tall. My 285/35/19's in the "winter setup" is pretty close to 27 inches. My stock 305/30/19's are stored so I'll have to measure them in about a month when they come out.

I just re-remembered one of both of my Bullitts--2008 and 2019--favorite 'non-features:' They don't chirp the horn when you lock or unlock them (my '08 would, but you had to hit the button a couple times quickly, and I think the '19 does too--haven't even tried it). Many people aren't deliberately inconsiderate, but they're deliberately non-considerate (bear with me). Why people think it's OK to chirp their horns at gawdawful hours of the day or night just, well, just because they can. Mustangs flash their lights when you lock or unlock them, but it appears that many makes and models chirp their horns, or worse, their owners/drivers just need to be recognized. Sounds trivial, but a couple loud horn chirps can really disturb an otherwise peaceful morning or evening.

Lots of good comments/suggestions here; I think the truth is Ford is doing their very best to 'upgrade' 'Stangs while still acknowledging their heritage as "the common man's/woman's sports car" (remember the 'controversy' when they got IRS?). Yeah, it would be nice to have an interior like an Audi, and maybe AWD but, then, you'd have an Audi. When it comes down to it, Ford puts the bucks in power and handling, and saves some on the interior (people are already balking at a Bullitt that retails for over $50K).

Rant mode off.

You can fit the ford oem space saver with 25 mm spaces fitted this clears the Brembo calliper

And when you put it on the back wheel you run a real risk of damaging the LSD in the Bullit and PP1 GTs due to the small tire diameter.

The diameter of the 155/70-19 AA spare (27.54") is within 0.5% of the diameter of the 275/40-19 rear tires (27.66"), so it's 1/2" / 1.9% larger than the 255/40-19 front tires (27.03").

The OEM Ford spare is the one that's 25". The >10% difference between that one and the rear diameter is large enough to cause real concerns about the LSD.
From what I've found.
Ford spare tire kit: FR3Z-1K007-C
Maxxis P155/60R18 TP10676000 26.5" Dia.

Mustang GT w/PP rear tire:
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 275/40ZR19 27.7" Dia.

Maxxis has a larger spare: P165/70R18 TP10672000 27.1" Dia.

So, if I swapped the OEM spare tire with the larger spare from Maxxis and used a 25mm spacer, it should work alright.

Ford OEM spare + jack: ~$225 on eBay with shipping
Maxxis tire: ~$145 on manufacturer site with shipping
25mm spacer: $25 (wild ass guess)

So, $395 for a piece-it-together that needs a spacer versus $500 for something that doesn't. Pick it.

The Euro bullitts don’t have lsd so that doesn’t affect them

Correct, the cost to benefit ratio doesn't add up in favor of the OEM setup. I was merely finding a valid solution for the OEM setup. Perhaps there are people out there that have already purchased the OEM spare kit and cannot return it. This at least provides them one more solution.
Besides, the research is fun.
